All types are abhorrent in my books.

Whether or not a woman has had FGM if she develops Fistula during childbirth she has to undergo the stigma of then being a social outcast in her community because she is seen as dirty/unclean.

The plight of women from these backgrounds seems to go unheeded by those here who want to play down the practices that those who are lucky enough to migrated to countries like ours still want to still perform/carry here ..... all in the name of diversity
