Why should you get a free ride just because you hear voices and believe in an invisible man in the sky?

Falau signed a contract and was paid handsomely. All Rugby Australia asked was he abide by their code of conduct.

The code of conduct imposes obligations which are quite typical of many employers these days, including not engaging in behaviour that is disrespectful or reflects badly on the employer.

The code also talks about not being offensive in the way you engage in public debate.

Let's look at a few of the conditions Falau agreed to abide by when he signed his contract.

"Treat everyone equally, fairly and with dignity regardless of gender or gender identity, sexual orientation, ethnicity, cultural or religious background, age or disability. Any form of bullying, harassment or discrimination has no place in rugby.”

"Use social media appropriately. By all means share your positive experiences of rugby but do not use social media as a means to breach any of the expectations or requirements of you as a player contained in this code.”

"Do not otherwise act in a way that may adversely affect or reflect on, or bring you, your team, club, rugby body or rugby into disrepute or discredit.”

He thinks he lost his job because he believes in God? Boo f.ucking hoo. People have lost their lives because they don't believe in God. All he lost was money. But as Falau has shown in the past, money can move him more than God.

But what does Jesus say about homosexuality? Nothing. If the "son of god" doesn't think it's important then why should you?

More importantly why should the general public have to be exposed to and accept the religious obsession with sex. And they are obsessed with it. Whose having it, how their having it and who they are having it with.

At the end of the day Falau made a promise to Rugby Australia, a promise he broke more than once.
