gotta say

this is interesting

The Aussies are riled

about bloody time they got riled

and good on them

Good work from people who stand up
for the right of free speech.

There is such a thing as an illegal contract.
It's amazing that our resident lawyer
didn't point that out.
Examples:
To pay a penalty for breaking a contract
by having a pound of flesh cut off from your body.

For a husband to cut his wife out of a Will
and give everything to the dogs home.

The court may decide that to remove
someone's free speech is also illegal.

The Australian Constitution does not explicitly protect freedom of expression. However, the High Court has held that an implied freedom of political communication exists as an indispensible part of the system of representative and responsible government created by the Constitution. It operates as a freedom from government restraint, rather than a right conferred directly on individuals.

governments are owned

they mouth scripts written by others

and they must obey, must, or they know they'll be removed, replaced, defamed, destroyed

that being the case as we all know is the case

this latest development will have thrown our puppet politicians into a tizzy

no doubt they are awaiting their next raft of directions from their overseas masters

after which they will read the scripts

Be interesting to hear what they have to say

Meanwhile, Aussies are writing the script for a change

and doing so loud and clear

As did Hong Kongians

Cods, i imagine any particularly outspoken Muslim would have similar contract stipulations as Folau.

Interesting observation.

Employment contract lawyers are now saying that code of conduct clauses are becoming too all encompassing and going into areas they have no right.

If you don't like the contract a burger chain offers you can go to another burger chain.

If you're a top rugby union player there are no other choices.

Rugby Australia is going to be shredded in court.

Is that what the High Court should be used for?

Ignorant has-been footballers who breach employment contracts (and website terms & conditions) who then blame everyone else for their mistakes and demand that others pay for those mistakes?

quote Cods: Quote:
so are you in favor of say a very religious Muslim  telling infidels to go to HELL  in the open market place?
end Cods quote

You're sounding more retarded by the day, Cods

why don't you acquaint yourself with what Folau said before you start your faux 'rage'

At no point did Folau tell anyone to 'go to hell' …. 'open marketplace' or elsewhere.  And what do you mean by 'open marketplace' --- are you trying to sound like something?

what 'open marketplace' are you referring to?  Do you even know?

So back to Folau

Maybe this will be the very first time you'll actually read what he actually said. Thank me later:

Quote:
The Wallabies centre said while he believes "people's lives are not for me to judge", he felt he had the opportunity to save someone with what he wrote.

"In the comments section of that post, I was asked a question by somebody about what God's plan is for gay people," Folau said.

"My response to the question is what I believe God's plan is for all sinners, according to my understanding of my Bible teachings.

"I do not know the person who asked the question, but that didn't matter. I believed he was looking for guidance and I answered him honestly and from the heart.

"I know a lot of people will find that difficult to understand, but I believe the Bible is the truth and sometimes the truth can be difficult to hear."

Folau went on to explain that being openly gay is akin to a "walk into a hole".

"I think of it this way: you see someone who is about to walk into a hole and have the chance to save him," he wrote.

"He might be determined to maintain his course and doesn't want to hear what you have to say. But if you don't tell him the truth, as unpopular as it might be, he is going to fall into that hole.
"What do you do?"

Folau says suggestions he is "homophobic and bigoted" could "not be further from the truth". He also wrote that some of the criticism he's faced since making the comment has been "pretty heavy".

So, what did Israel Folau say?

In a post to Instagram, his image read: “Warning: Drunks. Homosexuals. Adulterers. Liars. Fornicators. Thieves. Atheists. Idolaters. Hell awaits you.” [/quote]

Quote:
Unless they repent of their sins and turn to God.”

Will go to hell --- unless they repent of their sins and turn to God

and that included adulterers, liars, thieves, drunks, fornicators, adolaters, etc.

The salient part being 'repent' and 'turn to God'

in other words, they will be saved if they repent and bend their stiff necks and turn to God

If they don't want to repent -- if they don't want God's forgiveness which leads them to Heaven

then it's their choice to go to Hell

simple

Too hard, after stealing, lying, worshipping false gods, denying God, drunkeness and all it leads to, etc. to simply say 'sorry' and turn to their enternal salvation?

Too hard to admit they did wrong?

Do they believe they can deny God, live a dissolute life, spit in God's face and STILL get to Heaven?

What are they WHINING about?

Repent and go to Heaven

Refuse to repent and go to Hell

Their choice.  And they'll have to live with it

Instead they demand all their own way and blame the messenger, who in this case is Folau

entitlement
