It is surprising to see so many leftists suddenly  supportive of an employers right to circumscribe what an employee writes in a social media account.  Not enough privilege points for Israel, like name like country.   Cool

He wasn’t criticising on commenting on anything to do with his employment, he just posted on his page widely accepted tenets of his religion and he can support them in scripture.

All he had to do was NOT post that on his page as expected by AR Code of Conduct.

BTW...widely accepted tenets?  If you mean widely accepted as part of the fire and brimstone OT, sure.  If you meant the content is widely accepted as truthful, nah.

When Izzy goes to court he will be asked to swear an oath on the bible.

For some reason he isn't allowed to quote this book.

As an atheist and reformed drunken fornicator who has been guilty of adultery I have no problem with izzy posting a meme.

It appears only the poofters are butthurt over what he posted.

Some poofter humour lol.

Leftists and the Ayatollahs have a lot in common when it comes to criticism of Islam, they don't tolerate it.

Widely  accepted to any one who has a passing knowledge of Christianity that they are the beliefs of some Christians as I am sure even a dope like you could work out. Roll Eyes

He breached the Code of Conduct.

Why are poofters and their supporters trying to deny Izzy his human rights?

Quote:
Article 18 of The Universal Declaration of Human Rights

Everyone has the right to freedom of thought, conscience and religion; this right includes freedom to change his religion or belief, and freedom, either alone or in community with others and in public or private, to manifest his religion or belief in teaching, practice, worship and observance.

It's good to see Izzy can afford a real legal team instead of a taxi driver from the gold coast who pretends to be a lawyer. Little Pecca also claimed he was a lawyer with his previous sock Uncle Meat it turned out he was just a union clerk. Why do these leftards pretend to be lawyers?

No need to overthink it.

The Code of Conduct applies to everyone in the organisation, and he breached it.

It happens to people in other workplaces all the time.

I've never claimed to be a lawyer, ever.

I studied law at university.

That doesn't make me a lawyer.

And, I've never been employed by a Union (I was a shop steward once, many years ago).

Finally, Uncle Meat wasn't a sock.

Let's see how many things you get wrong in your next post.

Nope.  You are misrepresenting - gilding the Lilly so to speak - in the highlighted bits.

What are the real facts Aussie?

1.  Folau made some remarks AR found were outside its Code of Conduct.

2.  They counselled Folau to not do so while taking their money.

3.  Folau made further comments AR found were outside its Code of Conduct.

4.  They asked Folau to show cause.

5.  He was granted all his rights under natural justice/procedural fairness.

6.  He had a fair hearing.

7.  AR tore up his Contract.

8.  Folua is a multi-millionaire.

9.  He went to GoFundMe seeking $M3 in support to feed Lawyers.

10.  GoFundMe found his doing so was outside its Terms and Conditions.

11.  ACL mounted a campaign for funds so Folau could feed Lawyers, now capped at $M2 and it is being successful.

The rest is speculative and is gilding the lilly.

But was his contract legal?

There are many types of illegal contracts.

The Code of Conduct is legal, and he breached it.

That's why he was sacked.

Is it legal to take a pound of flesh
as penalty for non payment of a debt?

Bump.

The code of conduct violates Article 18 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights therefore it's not legal in Australia.

I shouldn't laugh.  I apoligise.

Let's do this the proper way.

Here's Article 18 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights:

"Everyone has the right to freedom of thought, conscience and religion; this right includes freedom to change his religion or belief, and freedom, either alone or in community with others and in public or private, to manifest his religion or belief in teaching, practice, worship and observance."

And here's the Rugby Australia Code of Conduct (under 'C'):

https://australia.rugby/about/codes-and-policies/all-codes-and-policies

So, which part number, on what page, violates Article 18 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights?

Can you help Baronvonrong, Bobby?

How does Rugby AU's Code of Conduct  violate Article 18 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights?
