If he is publicly recognised as an employee of yours, he's representing you. It matters not if he claims to with every post he makes on social media.

Your employer does not own you body and soul 24/7.

This belief that they do has to be stamped out.

Unless it's criminal matters they shouldn't have case.

save the hysterics for someone else. No one said your employer owned your body and soul.

Folau made an agreement then he reneged on it. It's really that simple.

The code of conduct is core company policy.

We may have seen excerpts of that policy that was used ....

but we haven't seen Folaus actual contract.

I don't need to see the date, amounts or signatures. If that clause was in his contract, he fuqed up. I see no reason to doubt it was in there. Even Folau isn't making that claim.

What clause?

that he abide by their code of conduct

So....why are you saying he did not breach a document you have not seen?  In any event, he breached the Code......after having been given a warning the first time he did so.

The same code of conduct also protects his religious rights. The code is in conflict with itself and the RU officials who sacked him for breaching the code are also in breach of the very same code for sacking him.

Doesn't it say something about  respecting other peoples religious beliefs? That's what everybody is talking about. Getting sacked by a code which is going against it's own rules.

Rugby Australia Code of Conduct

Rugby Australia Code of Conduct  9

3 CODE OF CONDUCT – ADMINISTRATORS, OFFICERS OF A RUGBY BODY
3.1 The safety, health and welfare of players comes first.  Be aware of, and always comply with, the Rugby AU Safety Policies and Guidelines and be alert to minimise dangerous or foul play.
3.2 Treat everyone equally regardless of gender or gender identity, sexual orientation, ethnicity, cultural or religious background, age or disability. Any form of bullying, harassment or discrimination has no place in Rugby.

Israel Foulah gets to walk the path of the superior man.....blessed are you when they persecute you and say harsh things about you for you shall see god.

To the snowflakes who get offended.
They get to fall over the cliff of mediocre purgatory.
If you are going to get all upset about a non issue. If you are going to insist on being kept safe, then you are diminished.

What shall you do when life dumps a real turd on your doorstep.
When you get cancer or your kid is killed in a car accident or your spouse ends up in a wheelchair.

If you are going to wail about something so trivial , how will you cope with reality

I see

So his harassment based on his views of several things are in breach of this clause are they.
And only one group has taken offence, but that's because they are the terminally offended.

He did not state pooftahs only will burn in hell.
He gave a list, and yet only be group complained.
He did not go on tv, the radio or any number of mass media to promote his religious beliefs.
He posted on his Facebook page.

Had he worn a shirt on the field stating all pooftahs go to hell, perhaps they would have a case.

As I stated earlier, contracts cannot circumvent legal requirements
You cannot sack or discriminate on the basis of religion or political belief

And that, as it quite clearly the case, is what rugby Australia and their pooftah sponsor have done and tried to do.
I hope they get seriously burned
If we are really lucky they will go broke and football will go back to what it should be
A freaking game instead of a business.

Go for it Israel

Israel Folau treated the poofters equally - equal with all the other sinners according to the Bible and the Khoran......

He himself is an 'ethnic identity' and a 'cultural identity' and he 'bullied, harassed or discriminated against' nobody .. nobody was named or addressed personally ............. where is HIS protection under that code???

I see no issue here....

Isn't his contract...like all work contracts....only valid AT WORK...unless clearly stated otherwise? I can't see where it says it is for personal life as well.

What he does in his personal life has nothing to do with RA.
His contract should have included....ON OR OFF FIELD.

Take em down Mr Falou.

Grow up all you easily offended dipshytes. Couldn't care less if you're offended. What someone else's opinion of you is, is none of your bloody buisiness. Stop making it your buisiness....cause it isn't.
Poofs know that what they do is not right....hence getting offended.

Exactly
The terminally offended are the way they are because they realise that
1) it's not normal
2) it's disgusting
3) they are mentally ill
4) they have no moral high ground.

Hence, they are always on the attack and continually offended.

Put them in the asylum where they belong, treat their illness and the world will be a better place.

Greggy,
the Bible wasn't written in English.
Everything we know is interpreted.
Sometimes hell is referred to as a lake of fire.

Here is  an example:

Rev. 20  KJV

[13] And the sea gave up the dead which were in it;
and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them:
and they were judged every man according to their works.

[14] And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire.
This is the second death.

[15] And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Matthew 13   KJV

[36] Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field.

[37] He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;

[38] The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;

[39] The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.

[40] As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.

[41] The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;

[42] And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

So, he was not "stating what's in the Bible".

Thanks for clearing that up.
