All about representing Rugby Australia ... nothing their about his personal religious views/beliefs.

Rugby Australia did not want to advertise that there were religious nutjobs and extremists among their players by writing specific clauses to prohibit their publishing of hate.

Israel Folau is not a Christian, he is a hate propagator.

Repent for the end is nigh.

Jesus saves.

Praise be!

Whose end? Let me know when you're done Bobbi.

Please don't thank me. Effusive fawning and obeisance of disciples, mendicants, and foot-kissers embarrass me.

Look, the issue is very simple here.  Folau made an offensive comment on social medial that is against the code of conduct.  That is why he was fired.  Had he being a non christian, and made the same comment, the same would happen as well.

So this is not a question of religions freedom, but rather code of conduct activities.  There are plenty of Christians out there.  And you dont see them going around uttering non sense that gays are going to hell.  In fact, you will see alot of Christians out there, in the community helping out marginalized people including those of LGBTI communities.

I think whoever in the Australian Christian lobby is handling this issue should be fired.  Its no wonder church attentions are declining over the years especially among young people.  And I cant believe they contribute $10000 for a case for someone who had done the wrong thing, and pretend that its about religious freedom when its not.

Those $70000 could have go to their local church to help out those who really in need, rather than in the pockets of lawyers, and waste time in our tax payer funded courts.   Angry

Offensive to whom?

I know who's simple.

One group of the sinners he listed/mentioned

a group that is like Muslims ... eternally & terminally offended.

That group offends many more people with their constant whinging.

If you don't like what he believes or says ... ignore him.

RA's Code of Conduct is a contradiction.

I will tell you who is offended, and its not only the LBGTI community, but also majority of broader christian community.  We have no problems with homosexuality, in fact, alot of Christian Charities are at the forefront of helping those marginalized people in need including members of LBGTI community.   The act of Folau, and the Australia Christian lobby does not represent the majority views, and it threatens to undo all the good work that good hearted Christian volunteers who sacrificed their lives for the benefit of the others.

And here you have a self righteous appointed paster from a small Christian sect, posting comments about gays going to hell.  Is a slap in the face to other good Christians.  This whole message is shameful.

But the Bible calls for the killing of homos.

It also says that children should be beaten with a rod.

Do you condone that sort of violence, Bobby?

Not really but who are we to argue with God?

If you are a christian, then read the passage about life of Jesus.  Watch him as he journey across helping people. Does he look like the type of person who would kill anyone?  He taught us to love our neighbours, to give shelter those in need, and even if you were hit on the cheek by someone, offer the other to him.

The world has no shortage of reasons for human to kill one another.   One less reason means a better world for us all.

Isn't his contract...like all work contracts....only valid AT WORK...unless clearly stated otherwise? I can't see where it says it is for personal life as well.

What he does in his personal life has nothing to do with RA.
His contract should have included....ON OR OFF FIELD.

Take an down Mr Falou.

Grow up all you easily offended dipshytes. Couldn't care less if you're offended. What someone else's opinion of you is, is bone of your bloody buisiness. Stop making it your buisiness....cause it isn't.
Poofs know that what they do is not right....hence getting offended.

I suggest you read the Code of Conduct.

How about you highlight the bit you're obviously referring to.

1.6 "Do not make any public comment that is critical of the performance of a match official, player, team official, coach or employee/officer/volunteer of any club or a Union; or on any matter that is, or is likely to be, the subject of an investigation or disciplinary process; or otherwise make any public comment that would likely be detrimental to the best interests, image and welfare of the Game, a team, a club, a competition or Union."

1.7 "Use Social Media appropriately. By all means share your positive experiences of Rugby but do not use Social Media as a means to breach any of the expectations and requirements of you as a player contained in this Code or in any Union, club or competition rules and regulations."

"Social Media means any form of online or interactive application or other form or medium that enables users to create, share and/or upload content, including SMS, MMS, email and such platforms as Facebook, WhatsApp, Myspace, Twitter, Snapchat, Instagram, blogs, podcasts, message boards and websites."

Again....that all pertains to RUGBY UNION. THE GAME. ASSOCIATED PERSONEL ETC.
Nothing in there about private life beliefs.

Now run off and find what THEY EXPECT.

Of course, the luvvies here were born straight. Our eyes aren't developed at birth, nor our sexual organs. In fact we are born without a vocabulary to even define the basic terms of human relationships. The luvvies 'just knew', man. F orgive me if my burden of proof is a bit more demanding.

Did you choose to be heterosexual?

I know without pondering too hard that there was a  periiod of years when I wasn't even aware of the basic ideas. I wasn't born sexual; hetero or otherwise.

Did you choose to be heterosexual?

I didn't sit down and write a list of pros and cons. I just wasn't aware of sexuality in any tangible sense. I'm not going to say my sexuality was inborn just to appease poofters/luvvies.

Nobody is asking you to say that.

We're just asking you if you chose to be heterosexual.

You didn't choose to be an idiot Pessary, you're a natural born one........ Grin

Ya know Fuzzball, "If I wanted to see schit from you, I'd squeeze your head."

You, my friend, are not man enough.........anytime any place..........do you feel lucky?

Stick to 'treeing' little kids...........

Just to forward the argument. Point me towards a scientific study that proves definitively that sexuality is inherent. I've got time.
