There are GREEN LIGHTS all the way on the Libs highway to success.

Coalition surges in latest Newspoll
By AAP 6:31am Jul 29, 2019

Prime Minister Scott Morrison is heading into the final parliamentary sitting week ahead of the winter break on the back of a new poll pointing to a lift in his government's popularity.

The Coalition's primary vote has increased by 2.6% since its May election victory to 44%, according to the Newspoll published by The Australian today.

On a two-party preferred basis, the government now leads Labor 53% to 47%.

Mr Morrison also leads Labor leader Anthony Albanese as preferred prime minister at 48 per cent to 31 per cent, while Labor's primary vote remains largely unchanged at 33 per cent.

With four sitting days left ahead of the winter recess, Mr Morrison wants to pass laws making it easier to kick rogue officials out of the union movement.

Mr Morrison also wants more power to deregister misbehaving unions and put checks on union mergers.

The government is yet to clinch crucial Senate crossbench support for his union-busting legislation but the Labor opposition claims the industrial relations laws expose the prime minister's deep-seated "hatred" for unions in general.

Meanwhile, Labor will this week try to set up a parliamentary inquiry into meetings between Energy Minister Angus Taylor and environmental officials about endangered grasslands.

...

Labor is pursuing the cabinet minister over his interest in a family company linked to an investigation into alleged illegal land clearing.

But Mr Taylor says his business interests have been declared and has accused the opposition of waging a "grubby smear campaign".

The government has so far managed to fend off an inquiry.

The Australian share market is floating skywards on ScoMo's winning aura.

It has fallen just short of an all time record closing at 6825.8.

Just think where the ASX would be if Shorty had gotten in - red everywhere as shares plunged below ground level.

And the retirees and pensioners thrown out on the street after Labor stole their income and increased their power prices by 3 to 4 times and drastically increased rents by wrecking the housing market.

Labor are brutal Socialist beasts.

Quote:
Sometime this year, we taxpayers may again receive an 'Economic Stimulus' payment.

This is indeed a very exciting program and I'll explain it by using a Q & A format:

Q. What is an 'Economic Stimulus' payment ?

A. It is money the Federal Government will send to taxpayers.

Q. Where will the government get this money ?

A. From taxpayers.

Q. So the government is giving me back my own money?

A. Only a smidgen of it.

Q. What is the purpose of this payment?

A. The plan is for you to use the money to purchase a

High-definition TV set, thus stimulating the economy.

Q. But isn't that stimulating the economy of China ?

A. Shut up.

Below is some helpful advice on how to best help the Australian Economy by spending your stimulus cheque wisely:

* If you spend the stimulus money at K-Mart, Big W, Target or the host of $2 shops we have, the money will  go to China, Vietnam or Sri Lanka...

* If you spend it on petrol, your money will go to the Arabs.

* If you purchase a computer, it will go to India, Taiwan or   China....

* If you purchase fruit and vegetables, it will go to China, India, Peru.....

* If you buy an efficient car, it will go to Germany, Japan or Korea...

* If you purchase useless stuff, it will go to Taiwan...

* If you pay off your credit cards or buy stock, it will go to management bonuses and they will hide it offshore.

Instead, keep the money in Australia by:

1) Spending it at  garage  sales or

2) Going to footy games or
3) Spending it on prostitutes, or

4) Beer or
5) Tattoos.
(These are just about the only Australian businesses still operating in OZ.)

Conclusion:
Go to a footy game with a tattooed prostitute that you met at a garage sale and drink beer all day !

No need to thank me, I'm just glad I could be of help.

What's changed since scumo has got in ? Cheesy LOL

All scumo has done is keep real estate agents in a job. As for other jobs forget about it. There is nothing to see here and expect another two interest rate cuts as the so called enviable economy grinds to a halt Sad

But getting away from the HATE filled Greeny type and back to the TOPIC.

Heavens! Dragged upward by ScoMo's winning aura the ASX hits NEW top ratings today as shares rocket upwards.

Just imagine the disaster if Shorty had gotten in with shares plummeting below ground level in a sea of red.

Oh we are here - usually all the time good or bad.  we don't just "duck in" when the news is good and take long breaks when it is bad.   1st Newspoll is good for the Coalition - let's see what happens when the real policies begin to bite.

Vic is hoping forlorn hopes and longing for those days when Labor STARTED the BOATS.

But Vic I seem to recall a certain Lefty from WA who specialized in FAKE NEWS would go berserk when each NewsPoll came out and when Labor won West Australia.

This unhinged Lefty has disappeared since Shorty lost the election.

Shows the serious dearth of genuine political talent in this nation..... the classical race to the bottom, as usual.

NONE of these clowns has the answer to  the disaster they've visited upon this nation over the past forty years.

Depends what these problems are. As I see them, the problems are globalisation, selling out our sovereignty with free trade agreements, perpetual high unemployment and underemployment, job insecurity, growing corporate and political corruption, too much red tape imposed on workers. All of these contribute to weakening our economy.

Of course it all started with Whitlam the 2nd worst Labor PM after Gillard who would have been eclipsed by Shorty if he had got in.

Thankfully Australia is in good safe hands now.
