So you are saying no one can be trusted with a gun, I agree Panther. Guns dont kill people, people with guns kill people.

American Citizens do not have, or need, government granted permission to keep & bear arms, they have a Unalienable Right to Keep & Bear Arms, affirmed & protected by the Second Amendment to the United States Constitution....The Law of the Land.....

Yes, and they love those toys more than they love their children.

Number of children killed or injured by guns in the US so far this year = 2,104

That's an average of 10 every day.

Unfortunate that it may be, yet, not one VALID REASON to repeal or amend the Right of every Law-Abiding American Citizen to Keep & Bear Arms affirmed & protected by the Second Amendment to the United States Constitution......America's Law of the Land!

Indeed.

Preventing innocent children from dying isn't a valid reason.

We understand, Panther.

Americans value their little toys more than the lives of their own children - we get it.

Say what you will, you have the Right to exercise your Freedom of Speech regarding your personal opinions, but that said, American Citizens will always have the Unalienable Right to Keep & Bear Arms to defend their own lives, the lives of their loved ones, & the lives of their fellow American Citizens.

Furthermore, like it or not, there is absolutely nothing you, or any of your fellow Anti-American, Anti-Second Amendment, Leftist ILK on this forum can do to change that........All you can do is whinge about things you have absolutely no control over.  Wink

And of course, there are the kids who shoot other kids.

This little bugger took his gun to school and killed 5 of his classmates:

...

If only the other kids had guns inside their lunch boxes.

Anyway, preventing them from owning guns is against the constitution.

Why didn't the parents of the other children pack an Uzi in their play lunches?

He was a free man.

He only served a very short sentence in prison juvenile detention (because he was tried as a juvenile, they could only keep him locked up until he was 21).

He was released in 2007.

"11-year-old Golden (boy in the pic) and 13-year-old Mitchell Johnson shocked the state of Arkansas and the U.S. when they became some of the nation’s youngest school shooters.

"They set off a fire alarm before gunning down five people in Westside Middle School in Jonesboro.

"They killed four young girls: Paige Herring, Stephanie Johnson, Brittney Varner and Natalie Brooks, and 32-year-old Shannon Wright, a teacher."

⦿ In America Murder is illegal.
⦿ Attempting to murder another human being is illegal.
⦿ A felon possessing, attempting to purchase, or in any way owning a firearm is presently illegal.
⦿ Shooting people indiscriminately is already illegal.
⦿ Using firearms in a criminal manner is already illegal.

Your unfortunate, sad as they are, examples of unusual & criminal behavior are again absolutely no reason why Americans should or could be expected to relinquish their Unalienable Right to Keep & Bear Arms, the guns they presently depend upon to defend themselves & their loved ones.

Americans use firearms anywhere from 500,000 to upwards of 4,000,000 times a year to defend themselves, their loved ones, their friends, & their property.

New, more restrictive laws will, as always, only affect honest people, the law-abiding American Citizens who chose to have firearms to defend their lives, or the lives of their loved ones & friends.........they are the only ones who are ever affected by gun laws, for we all know criminals will never be affected by those same laws, because criminals by nature never obey the law. The trade-off isn't worth it, & never will be.

So, as long as violent criminals exist, America will depend on guns to be used specifically for self-defense against violent crime, as well as other legal purposes.

The lawmakers can't defend good people by writing yet more ineffective gun laws, & law enforcement can't be everywhere to enforce the law, new or existing, when precious moments count. Americans will always have the responsibility to remain their own first-responders when their life, the lives of their loved ones & their friends are in desperate danger.
