⦿ In America Murder is illegal.
⦿ Attempting to murder another human being is illegal.
⦿ A felon possessing, attempting to purchase, or in any way owning a firearm is presently illegal.
⦿ Shooting people indiscriminately is already illegal.
⦿ Using firearms in a criminal manner is already illegal.

Your unfortunate, sad as they are, examples of unusual & criminal behavior are again absolutely no reason why Americans should or could be expected to relinquish their Unalienable Right to Keep & Bear Arms, the guns they presently depend upon to defend themselves & their loved ones.

Americans use firearms anywhere from 500,000 to upwards of 4,000,000 times a year to defend themselves, their loved ones, their friends, & their property.

New, more restrictive laws will, as always, only affect honest people, the law-abiding American Citizens who chose to have firearms to defend their lives, or the lives of their loved ones & friends.........they are the only ones who are ever affected by gun laws, for we all know criminals will never be affected by those same laws, because criminals by nature never obey the law. The trade-off isn't worth it, & never will be.

So, as long as violent criminals exist, America will depend on guns to be used specifically for self-defense against violent crime, as well as other legal purposes.

The lawmakers can't defend good people by writing yet more ineffective new laws, & law enforcement can't be everywhere to enforce the law, new or existing, when precious moments count. Americans will always have the responsibility to remain their own first-responders when their life, the lives of their loved ones & their friends are in desperate danger.

Always remember there is only one answer used by NRA gun nuts to every sensible question asked of them:

So you are saying no one can be trusted with a gun, I agree Panther. Guns dont kill people, people with guns kill people.

American Citizens do not have, nor do they need, government granted permission to keep & bear arms. They have an Unalienable Right to Keep & Bear Arms, affirmed & protected by the Second Amendment to the United States Constitution....The Law of the Land.....

Unusual?

Did I read that right - unusual?

Mass shootings, school shootings, and children dying from gunshot wounds are not unusual in the US, Panther.

Far from it.

It's an everyday occurrence.

There have been 247 mass shootings in the US just this year.

That's right - in just seven months, 247 mass shootings (that's actually more than one per day on average).

And, so far this year, 2,111 children have been killed or injured by guns in the US.

Last year, there were 94 school shooting incidents in the US.

And you call it "unusual" - seriously?

IMHO, as an American Citizen, I personally think it would be appropriate to have any weapons that a tyrannical government might use against the American People.

That really sounds a bit suss. Even a juvenile should get a bigger sentence than that for killing 4 ppl. Heck casual drug users get more than that.

The law in Arkansas only allowed the authorities to keep them locked up until the age of 21.

Not in America.....at the age of 21 they decide whether they are fit to return to society (it says it was only 4 people), or to be remanded to an adult penitentiary for further punishment at hard labor.
