But those all too quick to attack him over this defend Trump doing exactly the same thing, and now the people pretending to accept the scientific findings but have drawn vastly different and unsupported conclusions have come out of the woodwork to try to mislead as per usual.

It's like trying to debate a flat earther...  Even when you present them with irrefutable proof and debunk whatever they're claiming proves their earth is flat, they'll just invent a conspiracy to explain away what you've proven.

Good faith debate is about an exchange of ideas and the willingness to change your own opinions should the facts warrant it.

There was a time when I would engage in an attempt to clear the air for anyone else who might be listening, knowing full well the futility of the "debate", to ensure that the truth is there for all to see, but this place doesn't care about the truth. 

"Truth" has been redefined here.  Now it just means whatever information one can find that confirms their opinions and reject everything as false or fake news if it doesn't.

Reject everything that doesn't support one's point of view and question everything but the content that aligns with one's beliefs OR one feels helps them attack their opponent.

I won't waste my time on people like you anymore, or at least I'll try not to, I'm only human.
