Bobbi, nearly every one of your posts is hypocritical according to your own philosophy:

It wasn't an extraordinary claim - it's common sense.

That is an extraordinary claim.

Bobbi is victimizing himself with his own philosophy. It's like shooting yourself in the foot deliberately to distract and divert.

What do you find extraordinary about the claim?

The Howard government wrecked the employment market in Australia the moment they smashed the CES.

If the CES was still around, employers could advertise in the morning, be interviewing that afternoon and starting the new workers the next day.

Now we have the Jobactive failure that wastes billions to do far less than the CES used to do.

Notice how little the current incompetent government is really doing to connect workers to jobs? What little they do is geared towards lining the pockets of their mates.

Funny thing - the sister's boyfriend had a job at a meat works out West.. he was finished up in two weeks and came back saying, "They only want to keep Islanders and such who will bend the rules to earn a buck or two - they don't like real Aussie workers who expect to play fair and by the rules."

Funny that..... must be the secret behind our real open borders to all losers...

She should, but she doesn't.

She has no connection with the truth - she and the truth are undergoing a trial separation....

It is time to wean unscrupulous employers off the teat of black market labour. They're the ones driving down the wages of everyone else.

The low dole money is there to
scare the hell out of people so
they become obedient workers
who are eager to bend over
and take it from the boss.

If the dole was so terrible then why do the dole bludgers make no effort to take jobs being offered ?

It all sounds like a Greeny Labor beat  up.

There are a lot of reasons a job is unsuitable that arent mentioned int he article.

eg:

1: Too far to get to and/or outside public transport hours
2: Not enough hours to cover the cost of transport
3: Expected to work weekends without penalty rates
4: Employer expects too much (eg 5 years experience or soemthing)

Those are just some of the reasons - its not like those online job seeker places send you to suitable jobs

Your dole bludgers are a fiction and you would know nothing about the effort put in.

Just more right wing lunacy.

employers expect too much sometimes, I have come to believe the average worker in Australia is a bit less than average on the IQ front, thats just the way it is. Between meth, steroids and energy drinks that they all seem to guzzle constantly, a diet of junk food and a lifetime of avoiding any physical labour has turned the average young Australian into a mentally unstable,  selfie snapping,  out of shape emotional retard.

And then there is the other absolutely normal 98.5% of them.

Like requiring applicants to have completed a Certificate IV in Retail to take an entry-level job at the minimum wage serving customers in a shop.

Employers are asking for more and more qualifications but aren't willing to pay for them. Not through higher rates of pay, not through education levies, nothing.

They must be hiding somewhere. I have to work with some of these twats, their main concern is Bali holidays and facebook selfies. And if another of these self entitled twats starts another loud face to face conversation with someone on their iphone in my personal space again i swear I will take their iphone and ram it where it hurts. They all need 6 years in the Army and a permanent electronic holiday.

Minimum rate of adult pay is over 20 bucks an hour, in the US its 5 bucks or less.  Whats the big deal in getting a Certificate .
