Trump Tax Returns.
Aug 23rd, 2019 at 9:43pm

What is Trump hiding....If Obama did not release his birth certificate tax returns the GOP would have declared he was a crook!!!

Quote:
Whistleblower gives House Dems evidence of "inappropriate" conduct on Trump tax returns

House lawyers said in the motion Tuesday that the new evidence has heightened the need for the committee to receive Trump’s tax returns. The IRS is required to audit the president and vice president each year. Democrats argue that the new evidence requires them to see Trump’s tax returns to ensure the IRS audit process is legitimate.

California Gov. Gavin Newsom said in a statement that there is an easier way for Trump to get rid of the tax return headaches than filing lawsuits around the country.

“There’s an easy fix for the President,” Newsom said. “He should release his tax returns as he promised during the campaign and follow the precedent of every president since 1973.”

That wouldn't be right, Phil. Mr Trump has good reasons for not releasing his tax returns. He says past returns are under a continual audit. Also, they're complicated. He says people wouldn't understand them, so it's a bit unfair to show them things they wouldn't understand, no?

He is the president, you know. Why try to probe into his business affairs? Mr Trump's there trying to make Amerika great again and all the leftards can do is complain.

But Mr Trump is a liar Karnal....There is nothing preventing him from releasing his tax returns apart from corruption and exposure of his illegal business practices....Maybe the Democrats should ask the Russians to release Trumps tax returns???

Quote:
As usual, the president has distorted facts to suit personal needs. In this instance he's repeatedly stated that an audit is preventing him from releasing tax returns. This is false.

As far back as 2016, after the audit issue was raised, the IRS issued a statement concluding that "nothing prevents individuals from sharing their own tax information."

No, that's true. Mr Trump says there's nothing preventing him from releasing his tax returns, but he just feels it wouldn't be a good idea, okay? What's wrong with that?

Maybe he will, maybe he won't. We'll just have to wait and see.

Why can't the leftards just accept that Mr Trump's tax is his own business? Why should Mr Trump have to prove anything?

He was on TV, in all the papers - he's a seasoned political player, worth billions. Why can't you just accept that Mr Trump creates beautiful things for America? Prestigious country clubs, luxury apartments, his own marvellous penthouse?

Mr Trump's like a modern-day Medici - a patron of the arts. He once considered buying a Van Gough from Alan Bond for heaven's sake.

He even has a genuine copy of a Renoir. Priceless.

No, Mr Trump's not telling you anything, Phil. You can take it up with Uncle Sam.

Probably the fact that he's not worth a tenth of what he reports to Forbes, and that he donates next to nothing to charity (if anything at all).

If that's all it's hiding that would be a win for Trump.

I wonder if this year's will have a line item for "Proactive Legal Defence" that just happens to match the price of having Epstein suicided?

"In May 1984, an official from the Trump Organization called to tell me how rich Donald J. Trump was.

"I was reporting for the Forbes 400, the magazine’s annual ranking of America’s richest people, for the third year.

"In the previous edition, we’d valued Trump’s holdings at $200 million, only one-fifth of what he claimed to own in our interviews.

"This time, his aide urged me on the phone, I needed to understand just how loaded Trump really was.

"The official was John Barron — a name we now know as an alter ego of Trump himself."

Trump lied to me about his wealth to get onto the Forbes 400. Here are the tapes.

Indeed....Who would commit such a dog act accept a Trump???

Quote:
In a statement, Underwood said: “Our petition detailed a shocking pattern of illegality involving the Trump Foundation – including unlawful coordination with the Trump presidential campaign, repeated and willful self-dealing, and much more. This amounted to the Trump Foundation functioning as little more than a checkbook to serve Mr Trump’s business and political interests.”

She added: “This is an important victory for the rule of law, making clear that there is one set of rules for everyone.”

The attorney general had claimed the charity was used as a “piggy bank” to boost Trump Sr’s 2016 presidential campaign, violating rules that bar not-for-profit groups from engaging in certain types of political activity.

The suit claimed that up to $3m in such funds boosted Trump’s campaign. Among examples of improperly used funds is the allegation that the charity spent $10,000 on a giant painting of Trump himself.

The action follows a court decision last month allowing Underwood’s lawsuit against the Trump Foundation, whose directors are Trump and his children Ivanka, Don Jr and Eric.

Here’s where the day stands so far:

Deutsche Bank all but confirmed in a redacted letter to the court that it has at least some of Trump’s tax returns. The letter comes as the president has sued to prevent Deutsche and Capitol One from complying with House Democrats’ subpoena for his financial records.
