In Mr Trump's defence...
Sep 26th, 2019 at 6:13pm

Feel free to refer to the excuse from now on. Personally, I don't know why people bother with the first 4.

1. He didn't do it, it's FAKE news.

2. Okay, he admitted it. But you show me the crime.

3. So maybe it is a crime - according to "some" people - but we'll need to at least see it properly investigated before we jump to any conclusions.

4. So what if he's being prosecuted? He hasn't been convicted.

5. Look, who cares if he did it? He's the president. He can do whatever he wants.

impeachment cant work against trump.

trump is like a blowfly .
not a particularly strong man on his own.

the leftie liberals are like an enraged bull.

they are very powerful and used to crushing whoever they want.

trump knew going in , that the strategy would have to be to get into the ear of the bull and just keep buzzing.

now the bull has gone apeshit crazy and absolutely lost its mind and trashed about for all to see.

and the bull cant go to the public who have witnessed this "out of control" "over the top" madness and havoc and say

"but its the fly, its the fly, its all the flys fault, we need an enquiry into this evil fly.

because the public just see all these forces lined up against one little individual and they will side with the fly.

they arent going to see this as anything but bullying by a coalition of every establishment power against "their man" and they arent going to buy it, no matter what.

it was a smart move by trump

worth studying

probably for about 5 years

A blowfly? What about his mythic Messiah status?

Aquascoot, I'm most disappointed here. How can you abandon our "noble capitalist" in his time of need?

In Trump's defence:

Claim that Trump and his lawyer are telling the truth, even when they contradict themselves on live tv or via Twitter.

Claim it is a conspiracy by a biased actor.

Pretend that unless Trump said a specific claim about extorsion or quid pro quo that no laws have been broken and Trump is innocent

Pretend that the whistleblower is a spy and this is treason

Pretend that the summary of the phone call is the full transcript and that releasing it shows that there was no crime and that Trump has been open and honest

Keep saying "witchhunt"

Pretend that Trump's staff moving the recordings and transcripts of the calls to servers that are used for classified information was just prudent and not a cover-up

Pretend that because it wasn't a cover-up, they have not shown intent and a full understanding of what Trump did was wrong

Keep focusing on Biden, even if it shows clearly that the information solicited from Ukraine is of great value

Keep saying "Presidential harassment" in all caps.

Pretend that anyone who has bothered to arm themselves with the facts is on drugs.
