i just watched a car chase-it was bloody good-there were about 3 cars after this guy-he messed up and almost totalled himself- pretty  good i must say- dramatic end and quite  dissapointing realising he practically wrecked himself into his own capture ~~~

Expecting anything too exciting from facebook is a bit of an ask- but hey if you get a chance to watch a car chase- go for it- nearly always a good experience- just try it once!!!!     Cool

You should see the 'Drifting' clips from the UAE & Bahrain, Saudi Arabia. Especially when they stuff up.

Having done 10 years in Mt Druitt. Plenty of car chases where it was popularly viewed by locals, who rushed outside to the front to cheer the oncoming sound of 'Speeding & Sirens'. People would cheer like Mauritanians during a Paris to Dakar Rally.

Yes. It was back in the 70's and Mini's would dart up those little pathways between houses, away from the Cop car that couldn't follow them, and into another separate turn of streets and over the school oval (never fenced back then, with 'spikes' either), etc and far away. Or the Kindswoods and Valiants that raced it off together against the cops like Westies and Wogs.
I would be sitting on my bindie-lawn of funnel web and wolfspider holes after a punch-on with a neighbour again because it wasn't LBW.
The sound of a roaring of engines, the screech of rubber on road - in the distance. Like the sound of Mr Whippy, we all gather out into the street from indoors to see if the sound of them is getting closer to our way?
Luckily I lived on a main street of traffic-way and sure enough, like the sound of JAWS approaching - we all began getting excited and yelling at each other sometimes as some tried to guess the type of car being chased.
Then you see it afar as it rounds a bend to come down our straight towards us. Then everyone 'roars' with the sound of the engines as the police lights strobe the action with more artistic flare.
It's a Kingswood! Many shout. It feels just like a moment caught in but a second of time for even pictures move. It is the moment that the fleeing Driver nearly loses control with the inevitable outcome of people getting killed in the Kingswood's path. But he corrects himself and is gone past the zone of death, in the next second. The Cops just cruise past being all  Cool  Cool with their Siren and Lights as if to say "Where the hell can he escape to? Can't flee to another country in a car."  Grin
Yep - in Australia, there is no 'escape' unless by Boat of Plane.
...they eventually caught the Turbo Kid, but not until he escaped them 5 times in a row once.
