that must be me   I love the rain..

we dont get enough do we  my daughter is now in Laos working and it rains every night buckets down....she of course has never seen rain like it....btw the roads are hell on earth as well...lolol

I love the rain, walking a friend's Retriever along a very long dirt path that is manicured by many wondrous types of plants that have been put there by the Vegan Hominids over the years. A path that parallels a river just down the gentle embankment where clear water flows and fish are seen among all the tall aquatic species of plants.
Sometimes shallow, sometimes deep.
As it rains a gentle pitter-patter, the cold morning mist lends an eerie blanket of unknown beyond just a tree away. In the quiet of just a few birdsongs and the sublime sound of the river flowing. In the distance, the sound of another and his dog and that sound is a well known sound. It is of Batholomew and  his Bull Mastif known as Satan and they are heading our way. Now the Retriever was known as Old Yella from that day forth, because he just slipped his head out of his choker and backtracked at a sprint.

That's when I pulled out my gun and shot Bart's dog Satan. No-one saw me do it. No-one believed Bart's accusation over my innocence. They all got sick of having to run away with their dogs from Satan too.
...I love the rain, with a touch of mist.
