AG Barr Says Durham ‘Making Progress’ in His Probe Into Origins of Spygate, “We’ll Let the Chips Fall Where They May” (VIDEO)

US Attorney General Bill Barr said in an exclusive interview with Fox News on Monday that special prosecutor John Durham is making great progress in his investigation into the origins of Spygate.

Barr revealed last week that Durham’s probe, which began as an administrative review has shifted into a criminal investigation.

Durham now has the ability to impanel a grand jury, issue subpoenas and file criminal charges.


“We’ll let the chips fall where they may,” Barr said praising Durham’s 35-year record of bipartisan investigations.

Barr defended the investigation being conducted by US Attorney from Connecticut John Durham and ripped former FBI Director James Comey for ‘failure of leadership.’

“I do want to say that one of the reasons Mr. Durham is able to make the kind of progress he’s making is because Director Wray and his team at the FBI have just been outstanding in support and responsiveness given to Mr. Durham,” Barr said. “As you know, I’ve said previously that I felt there was a failure of leadership at the bureau in 2016 and part of 2017, but since Director Wray and his team have taken over there’s been a world of change. I think that he is restoring the steady professionalism that’s been a hallmark of the FBI. I really appreciate his leadership there.”

Trump has already shown he's not interested in justice, but just wants the appearance of it especially if it tarnished his opponents.

It's not about investigating anyone, it's about the optics of it.  Trump is trying, and failing to, bury the Impeachment Enquiry.

If you think anything will come of this you're dreaming Light.

It will fizzle away into nothing when Trump's team realises it's not having the impact they wanted and they'll ratchet it up, looking for dirt, manufacturing dirt on someone else to thrust them into the spotlight.

Like all the "Storms" that "is here" before this one, there is no lightning, no thunder, no rain, not even a gentle breeze.
