Grassley Seeking Identity of Hillary Clinton State Department Staffers Who “Deliberately” Transmitted Classified Information Via Private Email (VIDEO)

Senator Chuck Grassley (R-IA) is seeking the identity of Hillary’s staffers who “deliberately” transmitted classified information over a private server.

A couple weeks ago the State Department completed an internal investigation into Hillary Clinton’s private email server system and cited 38 people for violations.

The Associated Press reported that the State Department determined that 38 people were “culpable” in a whopping 91 cases of sending classified material in emails that ended up on Hillary Clinton’s private server.

The State Department found nearly 600 violations involving classified information.

Grassley blasted Hillary Clinton and her use of a private server while she was the head of the Department of State in prepared remarks on the Senate Floor (transcript below).

Senator Grassley also ripped James Comey for his failed leadership and for exonerating Hillary Clinton as “extremely careless” during a July 2016 presser rather than “grossly negligent” which carries criminal implications under the Espionage Act.

In March 2015, I began my investigation into Secretary Clinton’s use of non-government email for official business. Since then, I have written hundreds of letters, held hearings, and discussed my findings and concerns right here on the Senate floor. After all, the public’s business ought to be public.
Today, we can add more findings to that ongoing list of Secretary Clinton’s and her associates’ wrongful conduct.
The other week, I released a report from the State Department that finalized their administrative review of how Secretary Clinton’s private server setup caused hundreds of security violations. That review found the following:
First, 91 valid security violations were identified and attributable to 38 individuals. That means 38 individuals mishandled classified information and were punished for it. The sanction for a violation includes suspension or revocation of their security clearance, suspension without pay, or termination, among other things.
Second, an additional 497 valid violations were identified; however, the State Department was unable to determine who was culpable. State was unable to identify culpability because some former Department employees didn’t sit for interviews, and because Secretary Clinton kept her server secret from government officials so it was impossible for the Department to monitor security protocols in real time.
The review also noted that there was a five-to-nine-year gap between the beginning of Secretary Clinton’s State Department tenure when the security incidents began, and when she finally turned over the emails – which she initially refused to do. This many-years’-long gap made it very challenging to determine who was culpable for every violation.
In total, Secretary Clinton’s use of a non-government server for government business caused 588 security violations for mishandling classified information. Some of that classified information was classified at the highest levels, including Top Secret/Special Access Program information.
According to the FBI, Secretary Clinton sent and received emails that contained that highly classified information. It’s hard to fathom how that wouldn’t undermine our national security.
If the average American did that, they’d lose their clearance, their job, and might even go to jail. That’s what happened to a Navy Sailor, Kristian Saucier. He took six photographs inside a submarine that exposed information classified at the Confidential level. He mishandled classified information. He pled guilty and was sentenced to one year in federal prison.
Third, the review found the non-government server increased the risk of unauthorized disclosures.
Fourth, the review found that the non-government server increased the risk of security compromises. Clinton’s server setup has been described as being so badly secured that it’s almost impossible to detect who attempted to attack it and gain access – anyone could have done it.
Fifth, the review found that some classified information was deliberately transmitted via unclassified email and resulted in adjudicated security violations.
Many in the press, as well as partisan Clinton defenders, have hung their hat on State’s finding that there was “no persuasive evidence of systemic, deliberate mishandling of classified information.” Take, for example, the Washington Post. Their headline was, “State Department probe of Clinton emails finds no deliberate mishandling of classified information.”
Well, that’s entirely wrong.
Grassley is seeking the identity of the individuals named in the State Department’s report in order to criminally refer them to the DOJ.

There is evidence and testimony that Trump's team met with Russians to get dirt on Hillary Clinton. That is against the law. They admitted to it. Trump personally escaped accountability for it not because it didn't happen but because he occupies the Oval Office.

Just like Trump admitted the same thing with Ukraine and now we find out with first-hand accounts from the depositions that he also made the congressionally approved military aid contingent on the Ukrainian President publically announce at a later time (assuming when Trump saw it to have the most political advantage) that they were investigating the Bidens.

That's bribery.

You talk about corruption being bad as a defence for Trump's actions as if it justifies what he's done, because he's going after corruption, yet when he's clearly been acting corruptly himself, you claim he is innocent?

In June of 2016, Trump Jr. agreed to sit down with Natalia Veselnitskaya, a Russian attorney who promised, in the words of the intermediary who set up the meeting, "official documents and information that would incriminate Hillary and her dealings with Russia" as "part of Russia and its government's support for Mr. Trump."

Trump Jr. needed only minutes to respond. "If it's what you say I love it especially later in the summer," he said "it", in this context, referring to the unambiguously-described efforts of a hostile foreign power to interfere directly in a U.S. presidential election and at the least, provide the Trump Campaign team with a "thing of value" originating from a foreign national.

Federal law prohibits anyone from soliciting, accepting, or receiving "a contribution or donation of money or other thing of value" from foreign nationals in connection with any election.

The circumstances of the Trump Tower meeting, Mueller says, could "support an inference that the Campaign anticipated receiving derogatory documents and information from official Russian sources that could assist candidate Trump's electoral prospects."

The report compares the Clinton dirt offered by Veselnitskaya to opposition research, reasoning that it might qualify as a "thing of value" under the statute because political campaigns frequently pay for opposition research.

The same statutory scheme, however, also sets out different punishments for violations of this provision, which depend on the value of the unlawful "contribution" in question. Case law further requires the government to prove that conduct was "knowing" and "willful" that is, that the defendant knew they were breaking the law in order to establish a prosecutable violation.

This, says Mueller's team, is what undercuts potential prosecution of Trump Jr.

Mueller then goes on to state in the report,

Quote:

The investigation has not developed evidence that the participants in the meeting were familiar with the foreign-contribution ban or the application of federal law to the relevant factual context.

So there was no action taken against Trump Jr. not because he didn't conduct the act he was accused of, but because it was deemed because he was ignorant of the law and the difficulties in setting a dollar value on the information he was soliciting that it would be a difficult case to prosecute.

So don't for a second pretend he didn't do it because, like his father and President Zelensky, we KNOW it happened.

The call summary that was released shows Trump solicited dirt on Joe Biden from Zelensky to use politically against him which was then followed up by Trump's personal Attorney and at no point was there any US officials involved. It was not done for the benefit of the country.

There doesn't need to be coercion or a quid pro quo, that is a separate crime, one that evidence given so far points to Trump also doing. We will see as more comes to light as the public proceeding begin. I suggested you get your facts right princess!

What the hell are you talking?

You've mentioned before in defence of Trump that he sought this information from Zelensky in order to fight corruption. A claim that given he only involved his own personal staff and not anyone official, nor did he target anyone but the Bidens has been debunked many times over.

But if you want to stand by that claim, surely you are unhappy about Trump's own corruption, from him being "Individual 1" and an unnamed coconspirator to a crime where his former personal lawyer is currently serving jail time, or the many Emoluments breaches, the bribery we're learning about thanks to the Impeachment Enquiry, surely if stamping out corruption is so important to you, you should be holding Trump to account?

Or is it that you only care about corruption when it's in defence of Trump?

Well if you had read the report, it would tell you that Trump Jr committed the act required to break the law but because he's too stupid to know what he was doing was illegal Mueller and his team thought it may be difficult to prove intent and secure procecution.
