RIP Ayres Rock

So just because some stone age people have some stone age oogie boogie beliefs about a rock, it can't be climbed.

What a load of crap.

Its a damn rock

They complain about people walking all over it.... Big shite

I hope no abbo thinks he will be welcome to come inside any churches again.

And shopping centers are our cultural heritage, so they are out as well.

As for Pubs, no abbo go zone, they can build their own brewery if they want one.

But seriously, How far are we going to let this shite go on?

They have effectivly lock whites out of hiundreds of thousands of acres of land, stopped us from exploring our own country and demanded more and more for whaT?

What have they given in return?

They forfeited this country and their rights when they were too primitive to fight off one boat load of invaders

How useless were (are) they?

We own this land by right of might, they are simply parasites clinging to the purse strings of their betters.

Even Pauline Hanson changed her mind once she was confronted by reality....She had a very positive attitude to the situation and was open to find find a solution....All credit to Pauline!!!

Quote:
Pauline Hanson has had a last-minute change of heart about climbing Uluru, saying she now understands why the practice will end in October.

Senator Hanson arrived in Uluru on Wednesday, intending to climb the rock, although strong winds in the area delayed her start.

On Thursday – after apparently making the climb – she told the ABC she now understood why climbing would be banned from October 26.

“It’s quite scary, I was surprised, I’d never been out there before,” she said.

“I respect the decision that there is not enough safety with regards to the rock. I respect the decision that their people, their kids, are not getting jobs. They’re bringing in Aboriginals from outside to fill the positions that should belong to their own people.”

The Senator told the ABC she would like to see the Uluru climb remain open, and would work with traditional owners to look at how safety could be improved.

https://thenewdaily.com.au/news/state/nt/2019/08/22/pauline-hanson-uluru-climb/

Quote:
The climb is physically demanding and can be dangerous. At least 35 people have died while attempting to climb Uluru and many others have been injured. At 348 metres, Uluru is higher than the Eiffel Tower, as high as a 95-storey building.

Can I climb Stonehenge?
Maybe tow a stone away for my personal use on my newly gained farm nearby?

Uluru is like an Arkenstone.
The Heart of this Land and 'we' all just left a scar upon it.
Can I climb all over Anzac shrines and monuments?
Can I walk all over Parliment House, climb over the old one?
What would happen if I bulldozed Anita Cobby's Memorial park?
How about I drop landfill into that Bondi hole by the sea?

All things sacred.
Why can't you respect theirs?
What did they do to you?
Did they hold out on you (this country) while they waited for you to crawl out of your European hole where no sunlight shines to tan up your skin?

Uluru is more than just a rock.
It belongs to a Global Mythology.

All of those things you mentioned are man made for a reason.
Abbos didn't make Ayers Rock. They didn't make anything.

You came and spread your sickness as you lead 'death' by a chain and shackle from your ships. Then your Settlers from the land of the Free and Gun came and started shooting upon a whim and 'stealing' lands.

We all know what would happen if we discovered that 'Garden' world that E.T. came from. We would just shoot, kill and take with some Priest bringing up the rear with a Religion that just says 'Sorry' all the time.

Can a stranger climb the steeple on the Sydney Cathedral, Gordon?

Can a stranger climb the arch on Sydney Harbour Bridge?

Can a stranger climb onto the roof of the MCG?

There are many places where strangers, unsupervised are not allowed to go.  One of them happens to be Uluru now.  Indigenous people are the traditional custodians of the Rock.  They decide who climbs and who doesn't.  Otherwise, why were they granted land rights?    Cool

Someone said we could not judge a person's Aboriginality on their skin colour.  Why isn't that applied in the matter of Pascoe?  Tsk, tsk, tsk...   Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Who made Ayres Rock?

Who made the Moon, or the Planets - that which is 'sacred' to Astronomers and Astronauts?
Who made Niagra Falls that brings thousands of people to it just to 'stare' at it?
Who made the Cave Paintings around the World that gives us a sense of memory as a Species?
Deep down - we are all the same.
