For those that have smarts but not a good understanding of the science.

That fact that we will be saved only and only if we establish a carbon derivatives market paying for the free air we breathe above our country on the stock market.

And the fact that we can keep on sending CO2 into the atmosphere while doing so, must tell you something.

Doomed if you don't pay on wall street.

BUT

Its OK when you pay to keep on polluting.

Wake TFU..................... Cheesy

Climate change is real even sceptics acknowledge this FACT...!

Climate change has been happening since the Earth formed into a planet and will continue until the Earth gets swallowed up by our sun when it becomes a red giant (Kal Al and Kryptonite..... Wink).

What the sceptics disagree on is that human emissions are solely responsible for the current warming.

The climate moves in cycles as history shows, we have cool periods and warm periods nothing to do with the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere.

Yes CO2 up to a certain point keeps us warm, keeps the Earth up around 14°C, past that point of saturation the effective warming of CO2 becomes logarithmic and just about negligible.

The writing should be on the wall for anyone with half a brain or even some smarts.

If we are going to reach that magical 3°C increase in global mean temperature that those computer models predicted back in 1990 then we should be a certain plateau by now.

Of course today after 29 years since 1990 we haven't reached this magical certain plateau that the computer models predicted and so the "HIATUS" raises its ugly head.

And we all know by now that if your predictions (computer model predictions) don't match your observations what is happening in nature (empirical data).

Then your predictions are WRONG........!!!!

One only has to look at one of your preferred sources - SKS

"First of all, there is no real-world situation, in which only CO2 increases, all else remaining equal."

So even SKS uses the phrase, although to decry it. But they must have got it from somewhere. Wink

Of course if you look at the postulated effect of CO2 on temperature at the top of the range 4.5ºC the increase since 1880 would have been a maximum of 0.69ºC

"Probably won't occur" - is this the same thing that everyone - skeptics included - insist always happens?

IntergovernmentalPanel on Climate Change

right?

And what do governments always want to do?

Control people.......

and what's the best way to do that?

Fear, Emotion with religious zeal

that's what your Climate Science is.

Nice conspiracy theory

The problem is that climate change is accepted by the worlds scientists and is evidenced by the worlds retreating glaciers.

It's only the right wing loonies who have made it political

And they're all on the payroll & jockeying for more money.

And obviously you didn't watch any of the vidoes that showed scientists & climatology scientists that refute the claims of your "worlds" scientists.

And no that's where you're wrong ... it's leftwing loonies that have made it .... no demanded it be political.

Hence your Inter "Governmental" Panel on Climate Change.

Looks like the word governmental escaped your attention also.  Roll Eyes

Was just reading an article aimed at debunking a 'denialist' - and the words used were 'even if this occurs' - IF - I thought the 'science' was absolute..... no IFs or BUTs ... and apparently some glaciers are growing .... who knows..

No, science is not absolute. there are always plenty of IFs and BUTs.
The science confirms that if humans continue to pump additional CO2 into the atmosphere it will cause warming. There is debate about some of the detail but the overall mechanisms of Global Warming are sound and well understood.

As for the glaciers, a small number sometime advance due to local conditions but the vast majority have been receding for the past 100 years

Watch the videos then refute their arguments.

As the host says they asked Climate Change advocates & scientists to debate them  .... no one came.

The host asked Al Gore to come & debate the issue ..... he would not come.

There is even a scientist interviewed who said she was convinced that climate change science was proven ....  until she questioned some methodology they were using as being dishonest ... they got angry with her ....she lost her job ...

sounds a lot like Dr. Peter Ridds experience at the hands of James Cook University over his refutation of their Great Barrier Reef assessments & figures of damage.

Climate Change ....... the new Fluoride Science, the new Tobacco science, the new DDT science, the new asbestos science, the new Thalidomide science.  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Not at all petal.

So if all things don't remain equal we will get to 120% of atmosphere?

We know the climate models (long they be praised) don't do clouds well. They parametrize them. Climate models vary many things. If they vary many thing then "All else" doesn't remain equal.

The sceptical science blog

IS ANYTHING BUT SCEPTICAL....!

They like no other promote the Anthropogenic Global Warming science as though it was flawless.

When their emails got hacked it was revealed that these guys have aspirations to become algorians.

Knighted by Al Gore for their outstanding propaganda in selling this religion, cause its all based on faith rather than actual science.

"Photosynthesis increases with increasing CO 2 following a Michaelis−Menton curve, and this effect grows stronger at higher temperatures, implying, all else being equal, larger effects in warmer climates (9–11), especially in the tropics."
