ooops we mustnt mention that.... its all part of the PANIC we have now found ourselves in...

funny how it takes all these years  for man to destroy our CLIMATE.....[1 -2 hundred years]yet for some unknown reason the experts.... yes that means our very own ozpol ones...

think we can undo something that took us years to create   in what 10 YEARS maybe...  Roll Eyes  I think thats the number Greta hit us with.... Undecided

I find it baffling to be honest.....

Nice conspiracy theory

The problem is that climate change is accepted by the worlds scientists and is evidenced by the worlds retreating glaciers.

It's only the right wing loonies who have made it political

It's always funny when people who have no idea about science try to argue against climate change by misrepresenting the argument  Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

Cods no one is ever saying that we will get back to the CO2 levels of before the industrial revolution. that simply won't happen.
All we can do now is harm minimization. The current target is to keep Global Warming to 2 degrees.
Personally I doubt we will be able to do that, especially due to government paralysis caused by conservative lobby groups

I Promote Crazy Conspiracies....

Was just reading an article aimed at debunking a 'denialist' - and the words used were 'even if this occurs' - IF - I thought the 'science' was absolute..... no IFs or BUTs ... and apparently some glaciers are growing .... who knows..

No, science is not absolute. there are always plenty of IFs and BUTs.
The science confirms that if humans continue to pump additional CO2 into the atmosphere it will cause warming. There is debate about some of the detail but the overall mechanisms of Global Warming are sound and well understood.

As for the glaciers, a small number sometime advance due to local conditions but the vast majority have been receding for the past 100 years

Climate change is real. it has change since forever. Glaciers have advanced and retreated many times.

So you are agreeing that additional CO2 will cause warming.
I'm going to hang onto this quote of yours in preparation for when you do your inevitable back flip  Wink

Where have I said it didn't? Direct quote please.

And don't forget the important rider. Grin Grin Grin Grin

There is no rider
Higher CO2 levels will cause it to be warmer than it would otherwise be with lower CO2 levels.

An idiot's guide to risk management: let's do nothing at all until we all agree beyond certainty that continuing to do nothing is a really stupid idea.
