I dont know if you have kids spot... but in my world I have never heard of or seen a 5 yr old girl climb into a car to play..... the car was out in the sun and would have been hot even then.... it is a very unusual thing to have happened....

We were left in the car as kids, it was pretty common. I wonder how many kids died in cars before they needed to be strapped in like Hannibal Lecter and unable to open windows?

I can guarantee you, in Queensland summer and my children with their ex-Army bodyguard, they were never left in a car unattended..... and if I was there, it was more stringent.. NEVER!

Never in a locked car & windows were always down.

And unless Mum was going into the pub to see when the old man was ready .... we were attended. She didn't drink.
