I'm as shocked as you are.
I've even tried to initiate discussion about it, but some people think it's just "comedic".
If I saw a kid in a car, alone, I'd be waiting nearby until the parents arrived, or checking on the car every ten minutes (at least).
I wouldn't walk past a dog left in a car, so there's no way I'd not follow up on two children left on their own in a vehicle.
Some of the neighbours seem to think leaving flowers and soft toys on the fence will make up for their apathy.
What about the thoughts and prayers?
