On some other threads you can see the post in 'recent' but when you click on the thread your posts - the latest - doesn't show. It lags one or two posts. Why? Eventually it shows so it's not vetting or moderating. Or is it? Seems to happen on the PC-sensitive boards.

Noticed also that the log-in window is at the bottom of the page … at least for me and recently, although there was a spate of it in the past

People might scoff and claim it makes no difference. But again …. for certain posters?

It happens all over the place.

You can see the new posts when you hit reply in the thread and scoll down to the "Topic Summary" section, and even quote from there.

I would happen a lot in threads with lots of posts, especially the ones like Hillary Clinton Is RUNNING AGAIN ! (83 pages of replies) and Drain the Swamp (566 pages of replies).

A lot of other places that use the YaBB forum software, especially version 2.5.2 (from like 2012 I think) limit the size of their thread because of this bug.

So when they reach like 20 or 30 pages, they'll close the thread and start a new one, "Drain the Swamp pt2" etc.

I don't know if this helps but I've seen it elsewhere.

It doesn't appear to be a mod/vetting issue from the outside.

Thanks, it makes sense.

When i see the list of 50 topics and that i am not the last one a thread, i go to see the latest reply but it doesnt come up. If then I post dots and go to the list of 50 topics, my post shows as the last. Clicking on the thread I can now see the post before mine but not my dots.

No part2 thread is created but perhaps that would be the answer. But there are so many new threads aleady, most of them going nowhere.

Anyway, first world problem.
