Then again, you can move to Britain, where as long as you're a girl above 10 years old, you're probably safe.....all they do there is bugger little boys, their Peg-Boys, it's the British way.....making those little boys bleed for over 700+ years!

Pedophilia, the British pastime!

According to the US Department of Justice, African Americans accounted for 52.5% of all homicide offenders from 1980 to 2008, with Whites 45.3% and "Other" 2.2%. The offending rate for African Americans was almost 8 times higher than Whites, and the victim rate 6 times higher. Most homicides were intraracial, with 84% of White victims killed by Whites, and 93% of African Americans victims were killed by African Americans.[49][50][51]

In 2013, African Americans accounted for 52.2% of all murder arrests, with Whites 45.3% and Asians/Native Americans 2.5%. Of the above, 21.7% were Hispanic.[52][53]

Blacks account for the majority of gun homicide victims/arrestees in the US.

Inconvenient truth # 14,479.

Blacks are about 13% of the population.

That shows me how little you know about the American way of life, & what it means to be American.

Americans, in & around my life anyway, all Americans were taught how to shoot, both boys & girls, by Fathers, Uncles, & Grand Fathers. I don't have a friend or relative.....male or female.....that doesn't shoot.

We were all taught an absolute respect for firearms from the age of 5 to 6. How to care for firearms safely. Taught to not aim any firearm, a rifle or a handgun, at anything or anyone you're not prepared to destroy.

And as I was taught, so were my boys taught.

My daughter never wanted to have anything to do with firearms when she was young. Now, in her 40's, she owns 3 handguns (2 of which I got for her), & 2 hunting rifles (& yes an AR-15 is one). She just got her carry permit 2 1/2 years ago, & belongs to & is active in 2 shooting clubs. Have to give her husband all the credit for that.....ex-military, & a licensed certified shooting instructor.

The boys are both concealed carriers, & have various weapons, many of which are mine. When I'm State-side I sometimes shoot with them & my friends. If I'm there for over a week, we always go for a shot at least once.

I'm proud of my American Heritage, & I will never forget where & what my allegiances are, no matter where I live.......America first & foremost. That said I do have an affinity for Australia, but there is no greater love that I have, that is greater than my love for my homeland.....America......which is second only to the love of my wife......which is why I moved here.....Australia is her homeland, the land she loves.

About 7500 people die in the US every day.

A 2015 study from the non-profit organization Berkeley Earth estimated that 1.6 million people in China die each year from heart, lung and stroke problems because of polluted air.

so you support the ending of healthcare and the legalisation of murder??

While obviously a ridiculous question... but I'm not sure. maybe you do.

Your linking of these things and your assumptions (in the absence of any arguments) is what's  ridiculous.

New Year always has a spike in suicides.

177 gun deaths in one day. or if it help to think of it as 45 NON-SUICIDE gun deaths in one day.

The worst part of it is that it is only slightly above the average toll.

The Average is almost 100 gun related deaths a day. Suicides irrelevant, often the suicide tag is the easy / convenient way out. Little difference between suicide and made to look like suicide.

Suicides will happen with or without guns. Our suicide rate has changed little since Howard's gun buy-back

Fact Check:

"In 2011, for example, the United Kingdom had 146 deaths due to gun violence; Denmark, 71; Portugal, 142; and Japan, 30. But last year, in the United States, almost 40,000."

Result:
Mostly True
. Not allowing for population and some numbers accurate but a bit dated.

Fact Check:

"In 2018, we endured a school shooting nearly once a week."

Result:
half correct.

There was a shooting once a week but it included things like a fight in the carpark after a football match and accidental shootings.

(As if there is any difference. 100% correct for me).

You have said that a lot of times, does not mean it is relevant. Australia's gun laws make no difference we never had a lot of guns. Guns are an easy way to commit suicide without thinking about it.

You can get a gun good enough to commit suicide easy enough in Australia, as easy as before port Arthur.

Mostly black on black gangsters. Most of those guns would have been black (ahem*!) market.

Blacks are violent.

Stay safe.
