on New Years Day in the US, 177 people died from guns. Just one day.

let's all celebrate, huh?

and in australia, not one person died from a gun.

Your source GVA counts self defence of any type including home invasions and police shootings as gun violence.

How many of those deaths were suicides would you prefer suicidal people use a rope like they do here where hanging is the most common method for suicide?

Here is one to prove you wrong ya dopey dickhead
Quote:
The young Melbourne woman shot dead next to her husband on New Year’s Eve at their suburban home is being remembered as a beautiful girl who had found her true love.

her 29-year-old husband died in hospital on New Year’s Day from his wounds.

Longstupidone telling lies again, you should seek professional help for your hoplophobia.

Horrible of you to take advantage of this tragedy.

Longstupidone said nobody died here on new years day from a gun.

Is it horrible to refute the lies from longstupidone?

So it took 5 armed citizens to stop a lone gunman. If the gunman couldnt get a gun then 5 people wouldnt have to carry one. Good point.

The first one got him with a headshot the others were much slower to draw.

The offender had numerous felonies going back a long way on his criminal record he was not legally allowed to own a gun.

The criminals don't have much trouble getting a gun in Australia.

We could say it was a better outcome for those in the church that people were armed compared to the unarmed people in the NZ mosque.

You cannot deny the vastly higher number of people who are killed in shootings in the U.S. And thats the whole point, its not about individual cases.

You have to remember that the US has a vastly greater number of citizens that Oz.

Interesting ideas here on gun safety and crime.

we do not respond to sock puppets and freemasonic operatives .

I for one do not have socks or other accounts here like SOME .

the fact is an armed guard took out the potential mass shooter .

case closed 2nd Amendment wins again .

Nobody is saying we shouldn't have armed guards, we have them in Australia.  We're saying that civilians, the mass shooters, they shouldn't have guns.

2nd amendment fail again.

Yeah... That works out hunky dory doesn't it.... Just need the cattle wagons....

The only reason The State has guns is to control and kill you. I use mine for peaceful purposes... Unless you are a clay that is.... Why am I criminalised?  You really don't need to reply, your dribbling is pitiful.

Someone as paranoid as you should never, ever have access to a weapon of mass murder.

So, if everyone is armed, then the killer wanting to shoot and kill people would have to kill someone, or at least shoot/threaten them first, before the "good guys" with the guns can take him down right?

Otherwise, everyone would just be shooting everyone else who has a gun?

No wonder Americans are paranoid of everything!

No, dear, the US has a vastly greater number of gun deaths per 100,000 people, which is how these numbers are measured.

Different to the employment rate, which Mr Trump cites as the highest in US history.

In this instance, yes. That's because the US has the highest population in its history. In reality, the Clinton administration had a higher employment rate per capita, which is how those numbers are measured.

Take it as a strength, Rich. The US has the highest gun death rate in the developed world. They'll win so much they'll get tired of winning, no?

No, I think the baddies are supposed to put their guns away in case someone shoots them back.

The suicidal ones would rather not leave a mess, you see.

It is a FACT that in the United States of America they have an Individual Right to Keep & Bear Arms, affirmed, defended, & protected by the Second Amendment to the United States Constitution.

It is a FACT that in Texas, as well as the overwhelming majority of the other 49 States, American Citizens have the Right to carry firearms, & use those firearms, deadly force, in self-defense.

You may not like those FACTS, but that's not any American Citizen's Problem, it's your own personal problem.

The established American law is firmly on the side of those Law Abiding, Gun Carrying American Citizens.

So, have all the fun you wish, today, tomorrow, the next day......enjoy your little exercise of Free Speech, or complain all you wish about American Citizen's RIGHTS, the LAWS, & the CONSTITUTION that affirms, protects, & defends those RIGHTS......you, & any other Left-Wing, Anti-Gun, Anti-Second Amendment, Anti-American in any little obscure forum can do nothing more than whinge & complain about American Gun Law & Policy......

Can you affect those Laws, Policies, & Rights?.....NO....you all have absolutely no recourse, that you can resort to, that matters in the least.....Nothing whatsoever......You can change nothing, & America's Citizens, gun carrying or not,  couldn't care less about your powerlessness.

99.999999+% of All Americans don't even know you exist.
