You are right, I don't believe your China hypothesis and have given ample evidence to show why. And have I disputed your disbelief, Set? Yes you did. The better question is whether you have acknowledged it. All that effort on my behalf to show you was not a vain exercise. If you have reviewed it and seen what has been uncovered since you read a book, you should acknowledge it and admit your data was out of date at least. You have not. Rather you have extricated yourself from the discussion so you don't have to. That's a little gutless and not very academic of you. I am willing to acknowledge it. However, it still doesn't disprove my thesis, Set. China was more technologically advanced than the west until ~15th century CE. It does disprove your hypothesis. China got it's crucial tech from the west. Iron, bronze, the wheel, the war horse. You need to let go of the old when new things are brought to light, you are not doing that. You are trying to say "I learned it and it is forever correct". It's not. The west learned from China but China learned much more from the west.
