Very good news, we only have to wait another year til we actually get it.

Our goal is to produce the vaccine during the next eight to ten weeks and to achieve safety approval in 90 days.

That won't happen.

Best guess would be a year to 14 months. Vaccines are some of the most highly tested and regulated forms of medicine there is, despite the claims of the anti-vaxxers, but that process takes time.

It won't be this year.

My daughter in law is an international airline hostess, and of course we worry about that.
Before I was to fly to Gold Coast yesterday, she said to me that airline hostesses are more exposed to getting a virus than a passenger, due to their constant being there, serving each and every passenger, hours on end.
Only one Korean air hostess so far had contracted the virus in the world with amidst all those flights.
So that was a bit of a positive as you could imagine airline hostesses would be more at risk, but thankfully they are not.

It’s very positive for the airline industry, passengers, and crew.

We've always had a good supply of the essentials, again, this is QLD, severe weather can happen at any time, and I grew up with our house being flooded multiple times (how many 1 in 100 year events can happen in 10 years...) so there has always been an element of "be prepared" burnt in.

That said, I'll satisfy my curiosity at the local Woolies later today.
