Remember Oz had 25 cases for a while, no change, like a calm before a storm..... suddenly, we have 78.
It’s tripled in a short amount of time.

That's because they haven't tightened up our borders enough ...... and people are flying in & out from all over the globe & are not being screened ...... or quarantined.

One thing is for sure -
air travel was the cause of this virus spreading
all around the world so quickly.

Air travel has always been a threat/risk with with communicable disease & viruses for decades ......especially from people travelling from 3rd world & developing countries ....

it's also a major threat to our biodiversity & disease free status for our plant & animal industries.

You only have to watch one episode of Border Security -Australia ...... to see the number of cases they catch deliberately not declaring & bringing in prohibited foods & plant material.....

& in the majority of those caught are Asian/SE Asians.

So just imagine the number that they miss who get through?

The same is happening in the COVD-19 cases getting through our airports now.

I did watch 60 minutes, and I noted this, with secret hidden cameras, going around wet markets, the chopping of this wild life, on a wooden board, using same knife, for all animals, and that wooden board is filled with blood from one animal to another.

Now I’m educated enough to know about hygiene and cross contamination when handling food in the kitchen, I have different chopping boards for fish, chicken, meat, and veges, using a clean knife every time, and not to put cooked meat back in a plate/tray where raw food was.

When I saw that chopping of all different types animals on that block with blood mixed and same chopping knife used over and over , it just threw me!
