We went to China last year, much to my delight, on a canal ride, dropping us “tourists” off at an undesignated stop, much to our Chinese guides panic to get us back to bus area, we saw something of this wet market, I took photos, jumpy little bugs, live eels in a bucket of water, and so forth, with fires ready to cook to your choosing of theses delicacies.
There were scooters beeping anyone out of the way, and I felt just like a local chinese would feel, a little disrespected, life a bit cheap, it was a real walk amongst the walk of locals.
We were soon ushered away and back to tourist modus but that bit of reality, was more exciting to me than any 6 star hotel we stayed at.

Now, some years ago, it came to the attention of old Chinese men eating babies boiled in a big pot, to improve their manhood, either from aborted or stillborn, the photos I saw back then were gross.

The truth of what happens is bad enough, no reason to embellish. I've seen a whole bear embalmed in a tank of rice wine. Bear wine give you many power!

A mate saw a bear in a cage on the back of a ute with it's gall bladder tapped.

I heard it put more succinctly, "if its belly faces the ground, they'll eat it" but after reading Lols post about aborted foetuses and still births I'm not sure that is correct.

She doesn't know how to exactly translate the meaning to English. She says it's to do with farming/raising animals. There is nothing to do with Koalas there at all.

Just the sort of crap you'd expect from stories in The Sun.
