Not like Swan Lager, that's for sure. We were well away from where they could be bin chickens but the smell was not nice, still we persisted and when cooked a small taste was all it took to spit it out and almost throw up. We gave it to my mates dog, it took one sniff and that was it, bugger you humans, I'm not touching that! Worst thing ever. You and it would have to be the last two animals left on the planet and you'd be better off letting it eat you. If all meat tasted like that, we'd all be vegos.

Swan, well White Swan, apparently, according to Stephan Fry, "tastes like fish," apparently. He said on air in an episode of QI that he had some when he visited Prince Charles (apparently he's mates with the Royals) as the Queen owns all the Swans in the UK. Could have been bullshit but you never known with those Poms. Wink

Ibis? No idea what that tastes like but I wouldn't be surprised that it was shite. Chickens are favoured for a reason... Cool

I had my first taste of American beer on the K'81 Exercise in Queensland. The RAAF traded some to us in exchange fot Australian beer. We all took one sip and threw it away. It tasted like Gnat's Piss to me. I have heard similar stories from diggers who'd gone to Hawaii on joint exercises. It was as weak as hell. They couldn't figure why they needed to go to the toilet and not feeling drunk. Shocked
