The virus has NO cure
There is NOTHING that can be done to 'save' anyone suffering with the virus apart from bed care
The virus has been compared by experts to a robot
Many people are unaware of what a virus is, due to the fact in Australia (and elsewhere) we use the terms flu, virus, etc. interchangeably
Make no mistake, the virus can not even be killed. It can only be destroyed and the only way to do that is to starve it out … deny it new victims
the virus, likened to a robot, is not 'alive' in the way we consider germs to be alive
the virus will sit on a surface and survive from between 9 and 40 days. How long is unknown because so little is known about this engineered plague
once the virus … having sat on a surface for many days … comes into contact with biological matter (through human or animal orifices, skin, mucus membrane, whatever … it then latches onto the cells of that organism and converts them into replicate viruses
The virus is morphing constantly. Those infected and killed by the virus some months ago harboured a different virus to those of today
it can't be killed, stopped, cured or controlled
One infected individual can infect hundreds of others and for weeks, none of those individuals are aware they harbour the virus. So they go on about their lives infecting hundreds more victims
The only hope for the world's people is containment of infected individuals and a lengthy containment of anyone who might proved to be infected
The world's governments are terrified and are trying to keep populations calm
Thousands of bodies are being incinerated in China
The virus can remain alive in a deceased human (or animal) for at least several days. Therefore, even the dead can easily infect others. Incineration is the only practical method of disposing of infected bodies
Face masks as worn in videos and photos are useless. Even elaborate and expensive face masks have limited ability to protect the wearers
the virus can attach to droplets, to dust, etc. and will in any case sit on the protective clothing of the individual. The only way to try to ensure people aren't carrying the virus into their homes is to be scrubbed down by at least one other person and of course, all the protective gear must also be scrupulously cleansed each time. Feet should be covered in antiseptic holding tanks (tubs, whatever) before entering the home and shoes scrubbed
clothing should cover all exposed skin
protective eye wear is needed. At a pinch, swimming goggles with a tight seal on the skin can be used. All skin must be covered
This virus may continue infecting and killing over every inch of the globe for several years
In the US, they are keeping deaths quiet. People working in hospitals are whistle blowing about warnings already in place
As the virus progresses, utilities will fail due to lack of manpower. That means electricity, water and of course, exhausted hospitals, will close down
A sizeable percentage of victims will die hideous deaths through pneumonia
Australia has very limited numbers of machines which could keep such sufferers alive. Most will be left to simply die
Hospital staff will peel away as people put their own families and lives first
First to go, according to American sources, will be cleaners, cooks, etc. Without those vital support chains, hospitals will not be able to function
It's not a flu
It cannot be 'cured' using antibiotics although those can be used for secondary disease
People who have shown negative will later show positive
Some who are infected have shown no symptoms, during which time they have infected countless others
After at first believing they've 'recovered', sufferers are then hit by a killer dose of the virus
the virus can lay dormant
The Chinese scientists have stated, categorically, that the virus can travel BOTH by direct transmission (kissing, touching, sharing food, coughing, surfaces, etc.) AND by air. Chinese scientists believe the virus can travel dozens of kilometres IN the air AND by attaching to dust flecks, mist, fogs, smoke, etc.
Do Chinese scientists really admit to that?
I would love to see a link please.
All I could find was scientists say coughs and sneezes can travel feet and stay suspended in the air for up to 10 minutes.
It is not yet known how long a virus can survive outside a host, but in other viruses, it ranges from a few hours to a few months.
For now corona virus is known to last as least a week on smooth surfaces.
Other viruses are known to last months.
Those that have recovered from the corona virus now have herd immunity.
Those of us that haven’t had it, don’t.
What puzzles me is this statement I am constantly seeing, that masks do nothing to stop it from being caught, but those wearing it with the virus can stop it spreading.
If a mask can stop it spreading one way via mask, then it should stop the virus being caught with a mask on surely?
Unless what is meant, we wear a mask, together with disposable gloves, all skin covered and goggles?
