When I speak with God, I refer to him as God. He knows what I mean.
I don't want any jew hocus-pocus
as to the rest, that's pretty much as I see it too
PZ547,
IMO, we should have a firm idea, in our mind, about
the 'identity' of the God we seek and pray to.
Is the God you seek and pray to, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob ?
If he is, he is the 'Jewish' God.
He is the God who say's [in scripture] that
he will judge all men, in the exact same way as he judged ancient Judah and ancient Israel [northern kingdom].

it doesn't worry me that we are unable to fully comprehend God. Obviously it's beyond our ken while we're in this form
I'm not islamaphobic.
If asked, I would hope their beliefs ultimately boil down to worship of the same God
PZ547,
Do you believe, that the God of the Old Testament, and the God of ISLAM
and the Koran, are the same spirit entity ??? !!!!!
Wow !
I do not. ....
i am certain He is not ! [i hope that i am not being too presumptuous or arrogant, i stating that.]

God won't reject muslims because their beliefs are erroneous, because he realises they were indoctrinated as children
PZ547,
You are correct [imo], ....God won't reject moslems because their beliefs are erroneous.

It isn't rocket science.
[...but it has to be sought out,
if you have that mind to.]
Isaiah 55:6
Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:
7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
Jeremiah 31:28
And it shall come to pass, that like as I have watched over them, to pluck up, and to break down, and to throw down, and to destroy, and to afflict; so will I watch over them, to build, and to plant, saith the LORD.
29 In those days they shall say no more, The fathers have eaten a sour grape, and the children's teeth are set on edge.
30
But every one shall die for his own iniquity: every man that eateth the sour grape, his teeth shall be set on edge.
31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:
32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD:
33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.
Ezekiel 18:1
The word of the LORD came unto me again, saying,
2 What mean ye, that ye use this proverb concerning the land of Israel, saying, The fathers have eaten sour grapes, and the children's teeth are set on edge?
3 As I live, saith the Lord GOD, ye shall not have occasion any more to use this proverb in Israel.
4 Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine:
the soul that sinneth, it shall die.5
But if a man be just, and do that which is lawful and right,....

Hath walked in my statutes, and hath kept my judgments, to deal truly; he is just, he shall surely live, saith the Lord GOD.Micah 6:7
Will the LORD be pleased with thousands of rams, or with ten thousands of rivers of oil? shall I give my firstborn for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?

He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?
