(NewsNation) — A final congressional report on COVID-19 released Monday has determined the virus likely emerged from a lab accident in China and that the U.S. government perpetrated “misinformation” by incorrectly calling the lab leak theory a “conspiracy.”

The House Oversight and Accountability Committee’s COVID-19 panel, controlled by Republicans, issued its 520-page report two years after its investigation began and ahead of a hearing this week.

The report affirmed what has long been the leading theory, stating that a “lab-related incident” involving gain-of-function research in Wuhan is the most likely origin of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Excluded from the suspension the «characterization or testing of naturally occurring influenza, MERS, and SARS viruses, unless the tests are reasonably anticipated to increase transmissibility and/or pathogenicity». That is: research that doesn’t anticipate “dangerous” targets in advance can continue.

CIA MILITARY RESEARCH ON 89 CORONAVIRUS STRAWS
But that is not all. The Department of National Security (DHS) only a few months later, in 2015, renewed a federal contract with the leading private research company in biological research with $ 17.5 million military applications until 2026. The only evidence in those 96 pages is the post by me re the swabs and what they showed.
