It seems someone high in the Chinese government or with strong influence with senior Chinese leaders wants to keep the wet markets (where live food animals are sold) going. So something else could arise from a wet market like Spanish Flu arose from a wet market in Alabama or Arkansas and covid arose from the Wuhan wet market.

Work on viruses or bacteria needs more care than is currently mandated. Now we face another pandemic in Avian flu, H1N1—read what CarlD has written about this in the Corona Virus board and the thread I started:
