It's also plausible that Trump created the virus, has a covert ops team release it in China because he'd tanked the US economy, the only positive he keeps turning to and it wasn't going to last the election campaign so he has brought the world to its knees all to help him be a "war time" president and win, or even cancel the next election.

For it to have the most impact he also needed to do nothing and let it infect his people, just enough, so he can swoop in and claim to be the hero who saved the day.  Remember, while his inaction leads to the infection of nearly 700,000+ people and the deaths as of now, of over 35,000, he can still claims to have saved over 2 million lives if he keeps pushing the narrative that 2.2 million would die if he did nothing.

So yeah, it's plausible that Trump is world enemy #1 and let his ego kill hundreds of thousands of people and destroy the lives and livelihood of millions, even billions more just so he wouldn't lose the next election.

It's an inside job, like 9/11.

There is the same amount of evidence for both claims and while I'm sure you think the Trump theory above is batshit crazy, just remember it's in the same category, evidence wise, the Chinese Biological Weapons Program and 5G being the cause.

Trump has presided over continued economic growth but his debt has ballooned and his signature economic policies have not delivered, but it's hardly "tanked".  It was for, shall we say, dramatic effect when it comes to the obviously made up conspiracy theory.

Here's my theory.

It's a naturally occurring virus the Chinese discovered and this has been confirmed by many sources.

The Chinese discovered it, experimented with it on political prisoners and discovered it was very contagious, mostly kills old people but not a species ender.

They decided to let it infect their own people and let it spread just enough so that it went world wide. They did enough modelling to know how much damage it would do to the world economy but knew with advanced knowledge, they could contain it within China (which if you believe their numbers, they have) and leave them in a very strong position to gain significant economic advantage over the world.
