He was being asked about obscure emails going back to at least 2014. I doubt that anyone would recall that type of thing.

Unlike say Trump or a series of politicians who had to claim the 5th on every question - OH sorry but that is ok right.

I was averaging about 140 emails a day for many years, I would expect that Fauci was getting a lot more than that.

You could show me 10,000 emails from 2014 that I would not remember anything about. Many I may not have even read.

It is very likely that in Fauci's case that his assistant was reading his email and and filtering them. Many may have been forwarded for others to action with Fauci never seeing them.

I have currently got emails from last week that I don't remember.
