A president that keeps his word!! When have you heard  that before?

Well done President Trump.

So Mexico is paying for the wall?

Or are you retroactively changing his promise to suit his actions, ala changing the goalposts, again?

Who pays for the wall isn't as important as getting the wall built.
Did you see that open ground in the video? How easy would it be for illegals to scurry across flat ground like that? And the old barriers were nothing more than a speed bump. A high wall or fence, whatever it's called, is badly needed. And as Rich said, "promise kept"

100% Correct!!!
  http://www.33sm.ml/smileys/BullsEye_Right.gif

Only the Butt-Hurt, Trump Hating, Leftist, KrustyKruntKrinton supporters get their panties in a twist because Trump didn't make Mexico pay for the wall, as if that means anything to us Americans.....Americans want the WALL first & foremost for the Security it provides.........a huge aid in keeping the sh!thole countries unwanted foreigners, people smugglers, drug cartels & gangs out. We couldn't give a rats ass who pays for it, or how much it costs.

Oh? A Republican Congress rejected the wall, followed by a Democrat Congress and a month-long government shut-down, the longest in US history.

The Ryan-led Congress put the case most succinctly: Congress would only consider authorising funds for a physical barrier after it could be shown which government programs would be cut to pay for it, as is the Republican policy on all new government expenditure.

Why do you think Mr Trump promised Mexico would pay?

Millions, upon millions, upon millions of Americans will vote for President Trump in 2020, & they don't give a Royal Rat's Ass who pays for it........or where the President has to creatively get the funds to finance it........He's getting the Job done......Done for America.....Done for Americans!!!

Which is a broken promise by Trump.  As is the cost of the wall.  He said it would cost him $10-$12 Billion because he's in construction, and Mexico would pay for it because he makes deals.

He's failed on both of those claims.

Now you, he and all his supporters are still trying to claim the wall as a win when it's multiple monumental failures covered by changing goalposts as you've just done.

Trump touted his skill as a negotiation and construction magnate and he has not delivered.

These are indisputable facts with video and direct quotes to back it up.

You don't care because you support Trump, I understand that, but fact is fact.

Bias doesn't care because he's not an American. Bias just wants to see a big beautiful wall built here in Australia, exactly like America.

Maybe it could keep out the Boongs, eh?

Boongs without ladders, anyway.

"The U.S. Navy (USN) has awarded a contract to Esco Marine, based in Brownsville, Texas, to tow, dismantle and recycle the decommissioned aircraft carrier the Saratoga. The contract was signed May 8, 2014. Under the contract, Esco has agreed to pay 1 cent for the aircraft carrier. The price reflects the net price proposed by Esco Marine, which considered the estimated proceeds from the sale of the scrap metal to be generated from dismantling."

Capone Godfather scrap dealers will be offered 6 US carriers at similar prices . THey will be welded into the California-New Mexico

Exactly, so stop pretending you care about "promises made, promises kept" or lies made by anyone.

You're lying for Trump after all.

You just like talking Karnal. The President is responsible for protecting and defending the Constitution. Obstructionist self interested globalist RINOs in the Republican party don't count in the scheme of things. The President has to largely ignore them when it comes to protecting the United States

Those voters probably don't know the REAL reason congress refused to approve the wall: it won't work.

Democrats and Republicans based their decision on a congressional report that showed the border needs a range of measures, including electrical signalling, drones, aerial surveillance and border personnel. Barriers have a role around high population areas, but they're pointless in remote places where people can just go under or over them.

The report was written by the border experts, including the ones who told Mr Trump a wall's no good because you need to see what's on the other side.

Now that's okay. You don't have to agree with everything Mr Trump says, dear. You're allowed to side with the experts occasionally.

Aren't you?

Oh? The constitution doesn't include congressional representatives, erected to protect and defend the constitution?

The president is the Commander in Chief. Unless he can show he needs a wall to stop an invasion, a few steel slats aren't about defending and protecting, dear. The US is not at war with Ghengis Khan, you know.

Those 30,000 troops Mr Trump sent to the border got pretty bored after a while. You can only play so much poker and sleep with so many Mexican prostitutes. Yes, they did some invaluable work practicing their marching and saluting the American flag, but they could have done that back at the base.

You?

Same experts that said Trump couldn't win the Presidency in 2016 became border experts now!! ......

I want a Southern Border Wall between the USA & Mexico......period.

I will, because I am an American Citizen living in Australia, I repeat, I will vote for President Donald John Trump in November (actually earlier) because that wall WILL protect America, & keep UNWANTED non-Americans out!!!

You have a point there. The ranks of Latino marchers are militant. A loop-hole seems to be the Statue of Liberty where naval landings can be observed with aliens hitting the beaches.  A few machine-guns on the Statue are the minimum,  Space Force or similar will be welcome and bring happy happy clappy.

The overwhelming promise was to "Build a Wall", and he's now getting it built. No one really expected Mexico to come to the party with the money. My own belief was that Mexico would be obliged to pay half. However, the new fence is on US land and not precisely on the exact border I believe. If that is the case, my own opinion is that Mexico has the right to refuse payment, but if the new fence is exactly on the border, then Mexico is obliged to pay half, and to pay for monitoring of their side

I personally thought of Trump's statement of getting Mexico to pay for the wall as being neither here nor there, but I could sense that he'd get the money from somewhere no matter what, and he is, and the barrier is getting built, end of story

So Trump trashes lawful process.  So you trash Trump's credibility.

Lol    Grin

It was his number one, core campaign promise.

The one and only thing he pushed right throughout the campaigning process.

His primary focus was building the wall and getting Mexico to pay for it.

He could talk of nothing else.

Moreover, not one single inch of new wall has been built - not even a centimetre.

All that's been done is the regular maintenance/replacing of damaged sections, which had been going on long before the alleged child rapist became President.

You've been had, and you're too stupid to realise it.

There may be a new lock-up for crooked Hillary built on reclaimed swamp. But never-Trump enemies keep flooding in.  The Tower of London may be the way to go. Paying for it needs a genius.

Yeah, so you're changing the promise to match the outcome so you can claim it's been kept, shedding all the parts that he hasn't kept, that being the price and who would pay for it.

That's the textbook definition of changing the goalposts, which is the entire point of my claim.

My next question is, are you doing the same for his moves on Healthcare?

Are we celebrating another promise kept because he abolished Obamacare?
