The Navy’s own ability to maintain its attack submarines has been strained in recent years, as the four public naval shipyards are overwhelmed with work on the Ohio-class ballistic missile submarines and the Nimitz-class aircraft carriers, with Los Angeles- and Virginia-class attack subs being the lowest priority work. These SSNs have often seen delayed inductions or delays once in the shipyard due to the workforce being tied up with higher-priority availabilities such as the Mexico-class fence and Trump's limo.

Mexican enemies of America failed to pay a piece of peso and California ought to be Mexican. The wall fell south of the border and drug-lords are carving up the profits .

It wasn't necessary to threaten Mexico with a continual onslaught of draconian tariffs & the likes any longer. The new trade agreement/treaty ....
the 'USMCA'
..... was jointly signed into law, & it insured that Mexico, for it's part, would be a very willing 'partner' in helping facilitate America's desires of a safe & maintainable border to the benefit of both nations.

As you know, no longer will asylum seekers be allowed to enter the USA until they are fully vetted & cleared by the USA for entry. While awaiting a determination on their claims for asylum, the asylum seekers must await the verdict in Mexico, regardless how long that may take, & having never been permitted to set one foot onto American soil. If they satisfy American scrutiny, they will eventually be permitted to enter the USA under strict conditions of immigration & assimilation.

Mexico has agreed to accept the cost of their part of this undertaking, on their side of the border. So even though their funds aren't being used to directly pay for the Wall as such, those costs they are footing, is considered their contribution to the American Wall effort, & their financial undertaking in this matter is considered to be quite substantial.

I wasn't sure if the new wall would be fitted with electronics, but it seems it will be. Note the open ground that tribes of illegals could run across before, straight into the US. No chance now, not with all that's being installed
