How do you think Mr Trump will get Mexico to pay?

He no longer needs to, but if he did, the mechanisms for tariffs, & fees on money transfer transactions are all still fully available & implementable.

The reason he no longer needs to is because the Mexicans have signed the new trade agreement called USMCA. This NAFTA replacement, as President Trump promised, is in the better interests of the American People.....unlike NAFTA.....

Other separate agreements that Mexico also made were to look after any & all asylum-seekers wishing to enter the USA, to be kept on the Mexican side of the border, while America decides whether their claims were legitimate or not, & also decide their fitness to enter the USA.

Furthermore, another part of that agreement is that if any asylum-seeker's claim were refused, Mexico, at Mexican expense, would facilitate returning these false asylum seekers to wherever it was they came from.

Being Mexico has to date been quite willing to assist the USA as they have, there isn't any reason to threaten Mexico with the draconian tariffs & fees that might be placed on them if they were less willing.

So again.........Promises Made, Promises Kept!!!! Excellent Job Mr. President, A Very Excellent Job Indeed!!!!!

Mexico hasn't paid a cent and all these claims of "they're paying in other ways" or "They'll reimburse us" were all made after the election when Trump found out Mexico won't pay so he had to change the goalposts, just like his supporters.

Fact: Trump said Mexico would pay for the wall, even claiming they'd make a $5-$10 billion payment. Mexico has done no such thing and Trump has had to take funds from the military outside of every official level of Government to get the funds for his wall.
