I agree though 10 years seems fair...

The point is our system produced these criminals and they are our responsibility.....They are also being punished twice for the same crime by being sent to a country with nothing to support them....Whilst trying to look tough on crime and anti immigrant the Coalition are destroying people's lives....Ass holes!!!

this is pretty much a storm in a teacup..kiwis have always had something to whinge about.....there was a time when they were not allowed to become aussie citzs ..as far as I know its only those who are the worst that are sent back.....and I agree do the crime accept the punishment.... however if they have been here since a toddler we have to accept our part in their upbringing....and if its all of their lives its a BIG part.
