I was in Coles this morning; the only things that seemed to be sold out were toilet rolls. I suppose when the dunny paper is all used up, Courier-Mail sales will skyrocket...

Murdoch wins again.

I'm pretty sure we make a shitload of toilet paper in this country.

In South Australia, I think (my sister used to live in a country town in SA, and everyone there worked at the toilet paper factory/wood mill).

I've been slowly stocking up for about 3 weeks, buying a bit more than I usually would and doing a big shop when I'd normally do a top up.

That's how to get ready without panicking.  Smiley

What we have is a classic example of media manipulation.  Panic buying of toilet paper?...I despair for the human race sometimes....

Get ready for what?     Undecided

Do you think more food and toilet paper will stop you catching the virus?

If the Dpt of health knocks on my door tonight and tells me I've been in contact with someone who is infected and orders a legally enforceable 2 week home isolation, how will I feed 2 adults, a 13 year old and a 3 year old without being a burden on friends/family/the system?
