they won't have a choice. With interstate travel restrictions in place in most (all?) states it's nonviable to try and continue. I don't know what they're waiting for to announce it. It's stupidity.

I'm taking tomorrow off work to organise essential packages for the elderly and frail in my neighbourhood.

My next door neighbour and I will be distributing toilet paper and other essential items to the people who can't get to the shops or can't afford to buy extra items.

Meanwhile, Gordon will be filling his garage with toilet paper and baked beans whilst telling his children racist jokes.

If each of those three lines are equally true, you are full of shyte and trying to signal virtue where there is none.
Anyway, why would anyone need extra items, eh? Haven't you been saying there is no need for that? That anyone that buys a few extras is a panic buying hoarder?

You should prolly scroll back a few pages and see what gordon was saying

The people bulk buying & hoarding at the expense of the vulnerable; the people not obeying social distancing; the people telling racist jokes during a crisis = all right-wingers.

Typical.

Yeah - they dont want to help anyone else like their leader

Watched the Newcastle destruction of Tigers yesterday - no crowd, but over the fence a horde of Balmainiacs gathered as one looking over the fences from backyards.

Might as well have the crowd.

Leichardt Oval was it, I have only been there once in the seventees I think it was to one of those mid-week comp games.

Ampol Cup or something it was called!

As kids we'd go watch the footy then walk back thru the loony bin and get freaked out. Nearly as scary as the footy!

Be careful not to perform your righteous acts before men to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven. So when you give to the needy, do not sound a trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by men. Truly I tell you, they already have their full reward.…

I only went there once, just happened to be in Sydney for a weeks training staying in Glebe Point Road so it was nearby.

What was the loony bin?

pretty much since 1970 we have seen the feminisation of the body politic.

characteristics of the feminine  "compassion and all smothering love, together with anxiety and rule by committee" have become the norm.

our leaders are no longer strong powerful confident competant men like chirchill and eisenhower.

they are bed wetters who cower under the sheets like a teenage girl who hears a noise in the night.

in such a world, the strong powerful masculine will dominate and demolish this weak sauce rule.

putin, president li...these men are decisive and strategic.

meanwhile the west , australia and NZ remain rudderless under this beta male , virtue signalling, compassion masking uselessness "leadership " (and i use that word loosely)

Not always initially, and had to prove himself before winning over peoples confidences.
It was interesting watching the movie of his political career. It’s not a bed if roses, people don’t instantly think you are a great leader first up.
Blunders happen and flaws appear but being strong and sticking through it all, is what proved a leader he has what it takes in the face of adversity, and some tough call decisions became lucky, no one has a crystal ball to know what’s ahead. No one politician was without their challenges, people’s critiques, or other back handed politicians trying to cause their downfall.
I wonder, how would any of us handle our current crisis?
What I have noted, is our State Labour Premier respectfully siding with the Liberal Leader, coning together at a real dire time.
That won my respect. Notice how no politicians are being the usual bickering selves? Unless I’m missing something.
For us to come together with this, and abide by the right thing to do to fight this “invisible enemy” means our leaders are coming together too.
With our egos aside, more humane aspects come to the surface.
I honestly felt, for the first time since Scott Morrison came to be as our PM, that today, watching him in a half empty parliament, yet with more politicians being positive for the C virus, and the very distressing scene of  so many people now unemployed in a long long line up outside Centrelink, I felt the moment of overwhelming sadness in Scott.
Anyone that thinks he, or any politicians don’t care, with this world wide pandemic of tragedy, has put most leaders, as well as people of all walks, on the same page in history. Whatever our leaders are doing, is for our benefit, all ages and races.
Having said that, our people are stuck in Peru, or adrift in cruise ships with the C virus on board also!
Never has the expression of “Home sweet home” have more meaning than ever!
