I finally managed to get a 12 pack of TP today at Woolies, we were down to the last three rolls, and with looking after grandchildren who seem to use a roll at a time, it was handy to refill the larder.  However, it looks like the panic buying has shifted to the Laundry detergent aisle, nothing left except the cheap "used battery acid" stuff that cleans the interior of the washing machine better than the clobber!     Still lots of restrictions here, but as through the whole virus panic buying saga to date, never any real cause for concern.

I managed to get a bottle of Worcestershire sauce
which was unavailable for the last 6 weeks.

Were you able to get that brand?

I believe theirs is the better one available.

I haven't been eating many meat dishes lately, but you're not wrong.

I was going to do Beef Rendang this weekend, but now you've got me thinking of good old stew haha...

I much prefer this banter than our usual...  Hope we can keep it up Wink

That doesn't make sense.  If you panic buy all the long lasting food, wouldn't it be wise to keep that in storage and then buy fresh wherever possible?

What are people thinking?

Oh right, they're not.

They've been stealing them from public toilets in parks, etc. as well. Even from the cubicles in the shopping centre toilets.

There was a video on The Project last week of someone using a battery powered drill with a tube of some sort attached to it to quickly transfer all the toilet paper from a locked dispenser to the tube on the drill.

Unbelievable.

Edit: Found the video.

Have to give them points for imagination, at least.

And here's a $1,000 dollar fine for a 65 yr old woman who breached her self isolating orders twice.

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8157893/Woman-cops-1-000-fine-ignoring-...

And I bet there are more ignoramuses like her who have got away with it or will get away with it.
