Imagining is as imagining does, sah.... who would have expected the Spanish Inquisition aggressively questioning everyone?

Well, I certainly didn't expect the Spanish Inquisition.

My brother is having trouble with his cats.
He couldn't buy cat biscuits so he started feeding them tins of human quality mackerel.
Now that he's finally bought cat biscuits the
cats don't want them - they are asking where the mackerel is.  Grin

People are panic-buying cat food too?

FFS, what's wrong with the world?   Roll Eyes

Yes - so the cats are being fed, human quality food.

Oh well, nothing wrong with pampering a pussy.

Unfortunately tins of human quality mackerel are
exactly the right type of food which is great for
a long term shutdown when even if the power fails
people will still have something nice & nutritious to eat.
We should not be wasting those tins on animals when we may need them.

Yes well think about the pet animals - dogs & cats that are being dumped & surrendered because the same sort of numpties that have gone munyuk panic buying think they can get the virus off their pets ........

or they think they won't have enough to feed them.

Those people should never had had pets in the first place.

Haven't heard that one, but given the rampant stupidity of the 'human' race - wouldn't doubt it for one second.  We've got the ex's daughter's two dogs here at the moment - they are a pain, but are being taught that dogs live outside all day and only sleep inside at night when it's cool or wet, and they do NOT piss and poo on the carpets.  Spending their whole day like Fat Steve is no good for them when they've got a whole garden to explore out there and even got a waterfront walk yesterday, complete with a jog.

A few weeks ago, with a link and warning, I put a post in about that very thing!
In China, through fear (wether rumour or actual, as people fear their regime) people threw their pet dogs and cats from their high rise apartments to their death below because they were led to believe their pets would have the virus. Hence none wanted their police in their apartment!

These pets (I saw the photos) were cared for as they looked well fed and were well groomed.
They were not unloved, it was fear that drive those people to do that.
They were the most saddest photos and just broke my heart.

But wait, there’s more, people themselves are throwing themselves from their high rise apartments to their own suicidal death.

You know, we can all be armchair experts, and yes, always a good pilot, in fair weather.
To try and put ourselves in their shoes, isn’t easy to imagine as we live a different lifestyle with freedom of speech.
How can we, ever know the despair they are going through?

Remember what Abe Lincoln once said to another congressman, when walking past a disheveled drunk, by the kerbside, once out of earshot, said “There, but for the grace of God, goes I “

China is not ruled with empathy or care for human rights.
I dislike intensely how many countries lick CCP arze.

And then recently, finding out our Victorian Premier made road deals with China? I was speechless.

I told hubby, looking for his reaction, he said “Dirty back stabbing bastards”

I will eat my words if I go in to do my grocery shopping and I cannot find toilet paper and/or hand sanitisers in sufficient quantities.

Eating my words right now. Did a shop yesterday afternoon. Was also limited to 2 x 2L bottles of milk. No toilet paper at all. No flushable wipes either -- even when I saw enough in stock the previous week.

Going to have to do a supplemental shop at another store tonight. Then might sneak over to Coles and get whatever I cannot at the first store.

The Loons are still in the stores panic buying things they will never use over here or more than they need. We mostly refuse to stand in line to shop but yesterday we visited the local HEB and found the experience annoying. The line was only about a minute wait while people ahead of us used the washy washy station. The paranoia is amusing, an old couple stopped in front of us after we exited and unknowingly stood right next to our vehicle and complained we got too close to them. People who can't get masks and rubber gloves are using bandanas and winter gloves. I'm sure they are the local Democrats, just a bunch of sheep freaking out! We take reasonable sanitary precautions without being silly about it! We just wanted a loaf of low carbohydrate bread but we really won't need to go to buy food for a few months, it pays to be prepared. If it gets really bad we can just stay home.

Coronavirus stockpiling: Woman slammed for trying to sell hoard of toilet paper

In a post on Facebook that has since been deleted, the woman from Morayfield near Brisbane said she was selling "excess toilit (sic) paper that I no longer need”.

She no longer needs?

Doesn't she wipe herself anymore?   Undecided

Judging by some of her spelling (toilit, pandanemic) maybe she should have spent some of her money getting a better education instead of hoarding toilet paper.

Oh, I went into Coles at Belmont Forum just before lunch time today and they had plenty of toilet paper on the shelves. Is the Great Toilet Roll Panic Of 2020 finally over?

Yeah, she sounds like a real dope.

Woolworths at Enex 100 in the city has had plenty of toilet paper for the last two days.

They even had bottles of Dettol hand sanitiser today.

Strange thing is, can’t go for long drives anywhere, can’t remember last time I saw my son as he lives an hour away via toll roads.
Yet petrol is cheap as! What’s the point of that  Roll Eyes

Then I went to post office to post 2 parcels, I paid extra for express post, because for some unknown reason, postage is bloody slow as!
I received an Easter card, normal letter size, from my daughter from the Gold Coast, for Easter. It took 10 days to get to me!

So after the post office, since the supermarket is a short walking distance I went in, to see all shelves full, toilet rolls packed to the rafters.
And all pricey!
No one buying them.
I’m not paying inflated prices for that, nor for hand sanitizers, normally $3 approx before all this fiasco, now it’s between $6-8.

So all things considered that were panicky bought over, are now quite pricey.

But not bloody petrol though!

Yet I’m not going to complain, you see, our car and bike parts we have for sale on eBay and gumtree have sold extremely well in the past 2 weeks.😮
It’s almost like blokes are doing more online shopping than ever in these weird lockdown times? Panic buying via blokes stuff?

Me think it amazing! 🤗
