ScoMo must resign - he's incompetent and can't lead this fight.

It shows the absolute total incompetence of the
supermarkets and our so called leaders
that they allowed this to happen.
If they can't even get toilet rolls right then how can they manage a major epidemic with people dying by the 1000s
and the need for rare anti-viral drugs to fight it?

The halfwits allowed hoarders to buy like this until the shelves were bare:

Australians are selfish, greedy morons.

Panic buying toilet paper for no reason whatsoever.

They saw other people doing it and thought they'd better do it too.

This country is crazy.

Absolutely - the media is to blame as well.

If they'd stop showing empty shelves on their "news" reports, people might just stop panicking.

I strongly encourage people to stop watching the Channel 7 "News" and reading Facebook posts - your life will be a lot better without that crap, believe me.

I still don't get why they're panic-buying toilet paper though - it just makes no sense whatsoever.

We make it right here in Australia!

Yes.

Shut the bugger up about toilet paper and people will stop panicking.

It won't happen though - the media love this sort of thing.

People rushing home to turn on the news and see people fighting over the last few rolls on the shelf - ratings go up and advertisers are happy.

During the Spanish flu, the Govt restricted social gatherings, closed movie houses etc and Australia had a lower death rate than the rest of the world.

What the Govt is trying to do is slow the spread. I WILL spread thru the entire community but the objective is to stagger it so not everybody gets sick at once.

And for anyone who really thinks relying on supermarket home delivery is a good idea, there are currently up to 3 - 4 day waits.

My Woolies/Coles is showing 2 days. Imagine what will happen when people start actually getting sick!

It takes a particular kind of arsehole to taunt a man about his dearly loved, recently deceased dog.

I don't think you can stoop much lower really.
Whats your opinion on someone who taunts someone about a deceased child?

I think it's an arsehole move. And i told the person who did it so.
didnt see that post.

I wasn't around at the time and it was deleted by the time i logged on.

You were saying you wanted it shelved.
Nope, I made no complaint and still wouldnt. Mods will vouch for that, I made public my comment regarding that. I dont work that way.  i remember though,   A few will vouch for that.

Apparently you're not beyond trotting it out when it suits you though. Careful. That may just bite you on the arse.

It's a self fulfilling prophecy  -
it could equally have been tooth paste
or cans of baked beans.
Once the panic starts it causes a the shortage.
There are now millions of people with
no toilet paper.

This is only the beginning of the madness.
