Latest news 3AW.

The toilet paper war has hit England.
Panic buying and all stores have none left.
Fighting in supermarkets.

The irrational panic has gone world wide.

Same story in the US.

There are morons everywhere.

Roll Eyes

People are stabbing each other over toilet paper.

It's a sign of the End Times.

It was prophesied in the Bible.

I can foresee the following:-

Pharmacies limiting supply of necessary medications.
Workers in essential industries in barracks at their place of work.
Cessation of public transport.
Ban on all movement.
Ban on assembly.
Supermarkets operating on a card ID system like the dole card - once you've got your allotment, no more.
Petrol rationed via card.

Sounds like a world at war....

Now you see why I referred Hope and Glory... history repeating itself with different players.

Kinda reminds you of 1984 doesn't it?  (Kinda makes you wish you'd signed up for submarines).

Actually i have been having trouble getting some of my meds since the bushfires started. ALL the chemists in act were sold out. Weird.

I'm gonna head down to the Woolworths in Perth CBD again in a few minutes to see what the morons have panic bought today.

I'm guessing batteries will be in short supply soon.

Idiots.

Okay, just got back.

The toilet roll shelves are completely empty.

I've noticed a new phenomenon, though: people are queuing up to take photos of the empty aisles.

WTF is wrong with people?

There was no problem with toilet paper.

There was never going to be a problem with toilet paper.

Now, however, these people morons have created a problem: people who genuinely need toilet paper can't get it.

I hope the toilet paper being hoarded spontaneously combusts.

This is for people who are utterly clueless about logistics.

Toilet paper is a large and bulky item and takes up loads of truck and shelf space. Supermarkets don't keep much stock out the back, it all comes off the truck then onto the shelves.

All you need is a small uptick in demand for something and the supplies run out very quickly, particularly with a large bulky item.

Despite a few photos of a few idiots hoarding, the truth, at it usually is would be much more boring. All you need is for not even every shopper, probably every 2nd or 3rd shopper to grab an extra pack and the shelves will empty.

Other less bulky items are also being heavily bought, but because they're less bulky, they're easy to restock.

Move on.

Yes, I'm speechless.

Seeing people queued up to take photos of empty shelves, as well as taking selfies next to the shelves, was the last straw for me.

Australia is officially buggered!   🧻

You can't change human nature. If you can't beat them then join them ! Instead of listening to scumos and mainstream media lies you should have bought your stash earlier instead of whining about it and dismissing it here !! You had plenty of advanced warning !! This dude called it out a month ago. He predicted this would happen and indeed it did !!

Next, we'll be hearing about people roaming the streets at all hours of the night checking peoples' rubbish bins to collect toilet rolls that have been thrown out.

Unbelievable.

Scott Morrison - for goodness sake make an announcement, address the nation, do SOMETHING to try and put an end to this madness.

Try to show some leadership.

Exactly.

You can see whenever the bulky items are on special they always empty out much faster than say the smaller items like chocolates etc.
