I'm gonna head down to the Woolworths in Perth CBD again in a few minutes to see what the morons have panic bought today.

I'm guessing batteries will be in short supply soon.

Idiots.

Okay, just got back.

The toilet roll shelves are completely empty.

I've noticed a new phenomenon, though: people are queuing up to take photos of the empty aisles.

WTF is wrong with people?

There was no problem with toilet paper.

There was never going to be a problem with toilet paper.

Now, however, these people morons have created a problem: people who genuinely need toilet paper can't get it.

I hope the toilet paper being hoarded spontaneously combusts.

Effing idiots!   Angry

They weren't in queues, but saw several Asians last night at the local supermarket who were pausing at the end of each aisle to take a few photos before moving to the next

probably to put on social media

Didn’t you hear about the truck of toilet paper that did!
Toilet rolls burnt!

When in history did we ever hear something like that? Oh that’s right, when we panic over the supply of it!

Well I just cane back from Runaway Bay Woolies and yes, empty loo shelves! What was I expecting, to be delighted all normal???

And a sign saying due to high demand, only 4 packs per person.

I saw a woolies employee with a cart of loo paper to unload on the shelves, with swarms of people on the ready to grab!
I went near the dairy produce at the end to watch, an elder gent was standing there shaking his head in disbelief! We both laughed. I can’t get over it!  Grin Funniest thing to go down in history. But sooo embarrassing!
The elder gent says to me, that it’s the food people should be worried about.

You can't change human nature. If you can't beat them then join them ! Instead of listening to scumos and mainstream media lies you should have bought your stash earlier instead of whining about it and dismissing it here !! You had plenty of advanced warning !! This dude called it out a month ago. He predicted this would happen and indeed it did !!

There was no problem with toilet paper.

There was never going to be a problem with toilet paper.

It's morons panic-buying who have created the problem.

No it's governments not properly dealing with the issue by hiding the problem for as long they could because they didn't want to spook their fake economies which has happened anyway !! If people had confidence in the governments ability to deal with this issue then this would not have happened ! No one can trust what scumo and Greg c.nt says. Those two are the last people you would take any advice from !! Now they want to tell us that this virus is not as bad as SAR's or MER's and worse still it's not much worse than the flu !! That's why people are stockpiling essentials !

God has sent plague and pestilence in the form of Coronavirus to punish us for all the homosexuals
that we even voted for to be married.

God should therefore spare me the punishment.

But remember  - all those who suffer the
punishment will gain grace.

Takes a certain mentality TO understand it, so thank your lucky stars you don't

A media-driven panic which is now feeding on itself

Maybe you've been fortunate in not seeing the media's other efforts and promoting this via photos of hoarders' pantries.  No kidding.  Rows of cans, packets of dried foods, several dozen bottles of water, the lot.  Others striving for Panic-Pantry of the Week focus on potato chips, biscuits, Mars type bars, etc.  To be suspected is that the media is lifting the photos from US sites, after which they're inserted in 'news reports' about panic buying generally

guess it's the new 'Look at my immaculate wardrobe' and 'Mum makes 184 filling meals for $30' type media filler

insecurity, but to my mind, not so much fear of food shortages as fear of not having blown next months mortgage payments on provisions like everyone else on social media.  Follow the leader.  Sheepies.  Guess that's what happens in countries which have never really felt the tramp of the enemy's boots in its streets, i.e. the US and Australia, Canada, NZ

but with the boom currently being enjoyed by our major supermarkets comes the bust and once this hysteria has peaked and subsided, those supermarkets will have to lay off most of the shelf stackers for several weeks as the hoarders desperately save to repay the squandered mortgage payments by munching their way through their storehouses

Last Nail sounds really fearful

best he can do is point to 'conspiracies'

To cure yourself of  terror, you should go out and TRY to contract the virus

confront your fears instead of trying to transfer them to others

Ironically I have a large supply of toilet paper.

It was a case of taking advantage of economics ....

In late October just before I retired on the 18th November 2019 - long beofre this Corona virus outbreak I took advantage of my employers staff discount scheme ....

and purchased 5 packs of 48 rolls.

I priced these packs outside at Office Works e.g. & they wanted $123 each.

I got them through my employers corporate discount for $34 each delivered to my door.

So I forked over the $170 & got 5.

I have two packs left after bringing one up from the shed last week.

Toilet paper is a big household consumable.

Yes, but it's not going to run out.

We make it right here in Australia.

There's plenty to go around.

The coronavirus doesn't attack paper, FFS   Roll Eyes

The people panic buying are just selfish morons.

Is there at the moment?

You & few others here have been to supermarkets where there's none or next to none.

I went shopping at Woolies today maryborough QLD... guess what? ... No farqing toilet paper at 9.30 am.

RE: Corona virus attacking paper....

Was I inferring that it does? ...FFS

In fact arseholes attack/eat it.

You getting plenty to eat?
