The passenger hitchhiker videoing was provoking violence. To video anyone, permission should be sought, otherwise leave the camera in your pocket or just take pics of your fellow hitchhikers as a selfie
Lefties spy on righties, and have been known to follow them around to see if they can get something on them .. that's provocation. Were they following the righties?
They were in a national park, not protesting in a Melbourne street. The righties were apparently minding their own business before that idiot started videoing them, did he/she want a belt in the head?
I was unwittingly provoking violence once when I was out with a vintage camera, it was large, black in colour and "boxy" looking. An angry looking woke "self-appointed security officer" started walking towards me, but I wasn't photographing him. He must have thought the camera was a bomb, and that he was about to be a big hero in the nightly news. The idiot wouldn't turn away or leave until I convinced him it was an old film camera, no apology forthcoming, he was just a prick. I was in the bush would you believe, and he was a camper roaming around carrying on like an ignorant ratbag
A terrorist attack in the bush??, might take out a few kangaroos and a gum tree, that's about all
