Mt Warning was initially closed to the public in 2020 due to “social distancing”, but since then self-proclaimed indigenous custodians the Wollumbin Consultative Group have kept the summit trail closed to everyone except for local indigenous males, claiming the mountain is spiritually significant.

I think it is a totally spurious, nonsense. claim. Aboriginal 'spirituality' claims serving as tools of apartheid, land grabs and racial separatism are nonsense.

They should either provide details of the significance of the mountain or bugger off. A blanket spiritual significance claim is BS, like secret women's business and the like.
In almost all such cases it is laughable primitive superstitious crap - the main reason they veil it in secrecy.
