"He's a tremendously talented man, not just as a politician. As a human being, he's incredible," Mr Trump said at the time

Mr Trump named Mr Mulvaney to be his special US envoy to Northern Ireland amid preparations to welcome Irish Prime Minister Leo Varadkar to Washington for St Patrick's Day ceremonies later this month.

A former senior administration official said the change had been a long time in the works and was a "done deal" some time ago.

Mr Trump announced the move just after arriving at his Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach, Florida, where he is spending the weekend.

Everything the US does impacts us at home here. It wise to be informed.

But speaking of being informed, Trump lies to and exploits the people for his own gain. You're deluded in the highest order if you think he's putting the interests of the people first and trying to destroy the Swamp.

He's trying to replace the swamp, he wants to be the swamp.

There is a huge difference.

And they say the Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. What happens in the case of Trump when you have someone already corrupt walking this path?

Like I said, it's interesting.

And then there is the element of watching him say demonstrable and easily probable lies and the glazed over crowd just cheers and believes him, so much so that they're now taking his word over medial experts when it comes to COVID-19. If you spend some time in TheDonald, Parlor or Gab you can see the consequences of this.

It's interesting to use as a case study on the manipulation and exploitation of so many people en masse.

what 'freedoms' ave actually been lost? When I hear morons say ths kind of crap it is usually based in racism, sexism and worse. The 'old days' when blacks had fewer rights or where slaves. The time when women had fewer rights and had to stay at home. That sort of thing. The days when you could stock any kind of gun you wanted, no matter what, back when even the pitiful gun laws there are, didnt exist.
